- Coordinating with the teachers of both English and French languages at all levels.
- Monitoring of language programs: evaluating programs, updating them according to students' needs.
- Administering the language requirement.
- Supervision and evaluation of language teaching staff.
- Hiring and retention of teaching staff.
- Management of budgets.

- Monitoring and reporting on the quality of teaching and the performance of students in the language programs and reporting these to the University.
- Appointing language program coordinators for all language programs
- Recommending modifications in language programs and presenting these to the board of directors and the University council.
- Preparing placement tests for new students.
- Managing and monitoring correspondence among teachers and students on the one hand and teachers and coordinators on the other.
