Instrumental in strategic sourcing of direct and indirect Raw materials based on quality, best landed cost, shipment schedule and minimum inventory cost
Accountable for sourcing local materials for consumables, safety requirements, services
Efficiently maintaining inventory within the safety stock and reducing inventory cost based on the consumption rate on key product
Developing and maintaining long-term partnerships with key suppliers
Coordinating with technical/ project engineers for standardization and economical procurement of parts & equipment (CAPEX)

Preparing weekly reports (MIS) on procurement/usage of material for top management
Procured all types of material related to production Pyro metallurgical Plant (Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumental Equipment’s)
Successfully implemented appropriate and effective sourcing strategies in the areas of materials, supplies and services
Responsible for Service contracts related to manpower hire, Shutdown jobs and turnkey projects
Developed new vendors for better procurement of goods and reduced cost to the company
