Estimation Responsibilities
•Experience in Estimation of various projects for Oil & Gas sectors (QP, RasGas), Building Services & Infrastructure (KAHRAMAA & ASHGHAL) projects.
•Experience in estimation of 11kV & 3.3kV SWGR, Soft starters, VFD’s, 11kV & 3.3KV RMU’s, 11/3.3 kV & 11/0.433 kV transformers, HV/LV switchgears, MCC’s, Generators, UPS, Power cables, Distribution boards, Cable trays, Earthing protection & LPS.
•Projects involving EPIC works, pumping stations like storm water, foul water, sewage water, irrigation/fire water for QP, Kahramaa & Ashghal
•Feasibility study of project conducted basis company project experience, financial, schedule & manpower resources
•Conducted assumption/Risk analysis involving both qualitative & quantitative assessments
•Review and Analyze, Specifications, Drawings, Bill of Quantity, Proposals, and other
documentation to prepare cost and labor estimates for projects.
•Float enquiries (RFQ) to receive quotations for the materials & services.
•Organizing bids for subcontract works and technical/commercial evaluation of Vendors & Subcontractors proposal
•To carry out pre tender meetings & Site survey for the bidding & retrofit projects, to collect the drawings & details of existing electrical equipments
•Expertise in load calculations, cable sizing & voltage drop calculations
•Strong price negotiation & technical clarifications with suppliers during bidding stage
•Expertise in preparing Techno-commercial Proposal in compliance with client requirements specified in the RFQ/ITB, provide pricing in a timely manner and management of tender bids.
•Coordination with other departments like Accounts, Instrumentation, Mechanical and civil.
•Preparing technical submittals Method statements, Organization charts, Histogram, S curve and reply to bid clarifications
•Assisting in Preparation of Project planning schedule using Primavera 6
•Experience in ERP (Oracle) estimation module, creating projects, opening budgets & assigning key members to the project.
•Preparing dry cost of the project and discussing the same with higher management (Estimation Manager / General Manager) to get competitive offer before actual submission to Client/Consultant.
•Preparing Value Engineering (Cost saving) if required by Client/Consultant.
•Preparation of variance analysis for ongoing projects in coordination with Project Managers
•Material submittals, price comparison & technical comparison for tendering & WIP projects

Site Responsibilities
• Preparation of Technical & Commercial project comparisons
• Preparation of Engineering/Shop Drawings and Design Documents related to various systems of the Plant like single line diagrams, Material Submittals, Specifications & Data sheets for various electrical equipments, sizing calculations, layout requirements etc.
• Preparation of KEY SLD’s, Equipment, Earthing layouts, Cable Tray/Trench layouts for various areas in QP plants & Substations
• Review of Project/ Contract documents and prepare drawings/documents as per standards/ specifications and project requirements, and follow up with Client for approvals
• Preparation of draft inputs for CAD designers for Electrical drawings and layouts as per Project & Site requirements.
• Equipment/ Cable sizing calculations & selection. Preparation of typical installation details, Materials take off & Material requisitions.
• Coordination with Instrumentation, Mechanical and civil disciplines for Installation & control Interface works
• Strong team working ethic and leadership skills, being able to operate and communicate effectively within a culturally diverse environment
• Preparing Method of statements, Organization charts, Histogram, S curve depending on project requirements
• Supervision of site works, coordinating of site activities and attend site meeting
