• Operate and manage Physical/Virtual data center

• configure layer 3 core Cisco switches 3650 series, cisco routers 1940, 800 series & Firewall 5500 series
• Design network topology of Lan/WAN connectivity
• Create & update access-lists on Firewall, routers and core switches to enhance network security based on the client requirements
• Plan, design & implement disaster recovery solution for current and new projects Virtual data center using Veritas backup solution.
Operate & monitor Daily data backup on Tape media & cluster datastore replication over NAS
• Create and update backup retention policies to archive and store tapes offsite
• Configure new backup jobs. Test the data integrity every month
• Create and revise IT policies and procedure as per ISO 27001 standards
• System administrator of more than 300 workstations
• Windows server 2008, 2012 & 2016 installation and configuration of DNS, AD, webservers, file servers, Remote app, security, Group policies.
• Apply windows security patches & latest updates
• Protect datacenter from daily threats and virus using centralize Kaspersky Antivirus security centre and endpoint protection for client users
• Supervise the project data centre and monitor the equipment performance
• Directly report to VP updating about the IT operation works, pending tasks & suggestions
• Procure IT equipment of servers, computers, network device and software licenses
• Document the action tasks, problems occurred and Its solution
• Attend meetings with clients to understand their requirements
• Manage the project of IP & analogue CCTV installation at warehouses and its maintenance
• Installation and configuration of time attendance devices
• Host training session for IT support team
• On-call or remote technical support to users and outside clients
• Inventory the IT assets and keep track of them
• MS office 365 administration for 300 desktop users
• Technical support to staff for Microsoft Dynamic AX12 ERP system
Being as network administrator, my job was to configure the Cisco routers and l3 core switches.
Troubleshoot any network problem and report to the management
