• Operationally responsible to lead and develop a team of 10 employees, 2 direct reports and 8 third party reports, to drive innovation opportunities in the organization by engaging and inspiring over 15+ offshore and local service providers and to manage a company wide applications support portfolio of 53 applications used across the organization (8 key business functions) by over 850 users
• Streamlined the SAA IT budgeting and planning process (lead the IT Strategy and Planning workshop) and successfully delivered one standard SAA IT Company Plan 2009 - 2011
• Managed SAA IT Total cost of ownership of GBP 6 Mn, BAT Pakistan IT TCO of GBP 3.1 Mn and BAT Pakistan IT Capex of GBP 0.3 Mn while generating a 5% saving every year
• Delivered cost avoidance for PTC IT of 100k GBP in 2008 and 200k GBP in 2009
• Successfully embedded the new Global Finance billing process into the Area through continuous collaboration with local and regional Finance teams
• Acquired expert skills on IT Budget reporting to Finance & regional IT Planning teams through Hyperion Financial Management Tool, IT Demand Management tool, IT Service Catalogue and IT Account Plan
• Monitored budget spend trends and presented major deviations to the Top Team for corrective actions
• Hired and trained a resource in the role of IT Procurement and Finance Officer in less than 2 months
• In the absence of Area Business Engagement Manager, led the Area Marketing IT team towards working in the above market model to deliver the Area Marketing IT strategy aligned with the Global Strategy
• Proactively engaged with Marketing stakeholders to identify business improvements, drive innovations, monitor business processes and formulate tactical plans that increase accuracy and efficiency
