As part of the employability team at Silatech, I focused on developing and supporting programs and initiatives relevant for Arab youth. The main outcome of my contribution was the regional employability portal, Ta3mal, in which I was involved from the start and contributed greatly to content and functionality of the site. Ta3mal has now grown to cover several countries across the region. In addition, I worked on developing partnerships for a virtual work initiative aimed at enabling young skilled Arabs to work and be compensated on virtual marketplaces such as Elance and oDesk.
