Responsibilities: -
ESTIMATION
• Study/Review of Tender documents, scope of work, drawings, BOQ, specifiations, Client’s requirements, etc.. from the tender documents for proper estimation works.
• Prepare Technical and Commercial Bid on the Client Enquiry and Specification.
• Prepare technical queries for ambiguities in drawings, specifications and BOQ.
• Prepare and send RFQ for all the items to all the approved / approved equal suppliers/ sub-contractors to obtain required quotations.
• Clarify the Technical Queries on the Product, Design and test requirements.
DESIGN
• Prepare Auto Cad Schematic drawings for Ex Junction Boxes and Distribution Boards.
• Prepare Auto Cad drawings describing the installation of various products such as cable trays, lighting arrestors, lighting poles, earth pits, etc...
QUALITY CONTROL
• Responsible for Quality Assurance of products and Process and preparation of QC documents.
• Attending kick off meeting and discuss the various Quality requirements in line with Project specification requirement.
• Conducting Pre Inspection meeting at various Vendor premises, Prepare Agenda and Mom.
• Review and approve the inward materials and the material certificates to ensure the quality of production.
• Inspection of Junction Boxes and Panels in compliance with IEC 61439 standard.
PRODUCTION
• Individually handled a group of men in assembling Ex-Proof Junction Boxes (Exe, Exd and Exia) in compliance with IEC60079:2011 standard.
Product Range Handled:
Ex-Proof (Exd, Exe, Exia) Electrical Fixtures, Sockets and Junction Boxes.
Ex-Proof and Industrial Cable Glands, Lugs, Earthing materials, High Pressure Piping Valves and Fittings, Stainless Steel Pipes and Fittings, Electrical and Instrumentation items.

Cathodic Protection DC Transformers
• Periodical supervision of works along with keeping to the time frame.
• Preparing engineering drawings of Electrical Services and technical specifications.
• Providing technical inputs & engineering support to the team from conception to completion of project.
• Managing installation, erection & commissioning of electrical systems.
• To source, Negotiation and Purchase materials.
• Evaluate vendor’s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project.
• Advise internal and external customer on issues regarding purchasing Terms &Conditions.
• In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules.
• Maintain good professional relationships with suppliers and contractors.
• Supervise all subcontractor work to ensure compliance with client requirements.
Designing of CP Transformer Rectifier Units, which involves proper selection of Transformers, Rectifier Bridge, Filter Circuits, Voltage Divider Circuit and Measuring & Protection Circuitry.
Testing and Trouble shooting of CP Transformers.
Commissioning of CP Transformers in the Sites.
Testing and Commissioning of Remote Monitoring and Control System.
Testing and Commissioning of Current Interrupters for CP survey.
Configure the software of the CP units.
Preparing AutoCAD Schematic drawings for Enclosure, Panels and Cable trays.
Carry out the Factory Acceptance Test for the client / third party approval.
Prepare Presentation and Briefing to the Clients on the Designed System and Operation & Maintenance Procedure.
Preparing Data sheets and Bill of Materials.
Preparing Operation & Maintenance Manual and Test Certificates for Transformer Rectifier Units.
• The execution for Electrical, Plumbing & HVAC works.
• Assisting the Chief Engineer in Budgeting and Costing for Project Equipment.
• Preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) as per present value.
• Creating work orders for each work that has to be completed.
• Procure the material in individual sections and ordering through ORION.
• Creating daily, weekly and completion reports for presentation during meetings.
• Co-ordinating with contractors for execution.
• Co-ordinating with consultant for design & modification.
• Taking quantity as per drawing and specifications.
• Check and ensure that the electrical points and wiring is as shown in the physical layout and is as per Indian standards.
• Periodical supervision of works along with keeping to the time frame.
• Detailed designing of the electrical system which involves the proper selection of Transformers and their corresponding protection, Bus bar design, fault level calculation and selection of breakers with respect to electrical discrimation point of view, cable sizing, generator backup selection, Earthing of the system as per the fault level, Lightning protection etc, access control & security systems for various commercial and IT industries.
• Designing of distribution substation (11kv/0.4kv, 22/0.4kv), Power distribution network layout, Street lighting layout, Equipment layout, and Single line diagram for the substation (including MV switchgear, Transformer, LV Switchgear)
• Preparation of earthing layout drawing in accordance with IS 3043 & local authority regulation.
• Conventional lightning protection design as per IS 2309.
• Prepare load schedule for the electrical system in accordance with the local authority regulations and project specifications.
• Periodical supervision of works along with keeping to the time frame.
• Preparing presentation to clients on the designed system.
• Preparation of detailed drawings and reports for client meetings.
• Estimation and its related documents preparation for the electrical projects.
• Preparing shop drawings for panels and cable trays etc.
• Testing of transformer, Generator and Main Panel at manufacturer’s site before dispatching.
• Electrical maintenance and wiring.
• Handling PM and TPM in guest rooms, public area and plant machineries.
• Operation and maintenance of HT and LT panel.
• Operation and maintenance of 625KVA DG set (2 no.s).
• Operation and maintenance of steam boilers and hot water boilers.
• Operation and maintenance of VRV A/C systems, AHU & FCU.
• Operation and maintenance of STP plants.
• Raw water softener regeneration and drinking water treatment.
• Operation and maintenance of fire system and plumbing system.
