Responsibilities:
• Operation and Maintenance of EHV and HV Transformers and EHT & HT Lines.
• Erection, testing & commissioning of Distribution Transformers.
• Maintenance of Control panels, Metering Equipments and Protective relays, Earth fault relays, Differential relays, Buchholz relays etc.
• Operation and Maintenance of Circuit breakers (ABCB, VCB, SF6, OCB).
• Make Periodic Inspections to see that all Equipment and controls are operating properly and are in good condition.
• Operation and maintenance of Isolators, Lightning Arrestors, CTs, PTs, etc.
• Co-ordination between the clients, subcontractors and the project team for timely completion of project.
• Supervision of oil filtration of transformers up to 160 MVA.
• Maintenance of all power transformers, Circuit breakers of various manufactures like Vijay, ABB, AREVA, ALSTOM, EMCO etc.
• Planning, Scheduling and carrying out the Monthly/half yearly/yearly maintenance of substation equipments.
• Maintenance of DC Battery systems.
• Issue of permit to works on EHV lines and equipments.
• Co-ordination with the Manufacturer, Site for Timely completion of project.
• Pre-commissioning checking and verifying the level of standard and rating of devices and instruments.
• Records Temperature of transformers and oil level at specified intervals.
• Responsible for Maintain safety measures for the personnel.

 Official Responsibilities:

• Preparation of client as well as sub- contractor related documents.
• To make billing for supply of material, erection of material and cost of material.
• Preparation of Project Report for correct and Timely information for the Progress of work
• Maintain the daily log sheet book to records daily wise works in substation.
• All inspection documents and files about substation equipment's submitted to higher officers every week.
