•Employed in the onshore EPC industry. Implementing Quality Systems, Reviewing, Supervising Mechanical, Piping & QC systems. Working on Construction Drawings, Dimensional Inspection, NDT Coordination, Preparing, Reviewing and Submitting of Final Documentation and getting Certification. Preparation of necessary documents required for pre-commissioning activities in the field.
•Familiar with International / National codes and standards involved with inspection, quality control and assurance activities.
•Experience in working with overseas clients. Involved in shutdown activities like modification works in Petrochemical Industries & Water Transmission projects.
•Familiar with NDT techniques, visual inspection of welds, receiving inspection of materials, hydro/pneumatic testing, stage wise inspection of pressure vessels, heavy rotating equipment, piping, and structural works etc.

as a Quality Controller:
•Preparation, implementation, monitoring and updating of ITP, QC procedures.
•Preparation of relevant QC documents and to obtain client’s approval prior to starting of activity.
•Review and approval of Vendor documents and ensure that all work procedures are duly approved before commencement of the job.
•Ensure the Quality documents are distributed for effective implementation.
•Provide guidance /training to implement QC requirements (Focus Assessment).
•Reporting & Updating the Quality related improvements and Non-compliances to the Head of the Quality department.
•Ensure all NCRs or Observations issued or closed within the accepted period of issuance/receipt.
•Liaise with Client Representatives for effective quality planning and implementation.

•Installation and Alignment inspection of Vent Stack & Derrick Structure, Drum Screens, Stop Logs, Bar Screens, Raking Machine etc.
•Installation, Functional and Load Test for EOT Crane, Semi Portal Crane, Gantry Crane and Electric Monorail Hoists etc.
•Installation & Pre-commissioning of HVAC for Admin, Control, MCC Switchgear, Maintenance & Fire Hall Buildings, Sub-Station and SEET Sub-Stations (Packages Units & Chiller Units).
•Monitoring and witnessing construction activities such as Fabrication & Erection of Structural works (Sulphur Storage Building, Granulation Shelter, Railcar Loading Station, Transfer Towers, Pipe racks, Conveyor Structure, Maintenance & Fire hall Building, SEET Sub-Station Buildings and Compressor House Building etc.).
•Participating in Shut down works of Tie-in works in Pump House and Tap-off Stations (Fit up, Welding, NDT, Installation & Bolt tightness of MOVs, and Documentation).
•Participating inspection activities of Pipeline works, Tap-off Stations, Line Valve Stations, Vent Stations, Automatic Vent Stations and Drain Stations.
•Complete all documentation required accurately and on time and ensure that copies are retained documented & well kept.
•Adhere to all company policies, procedures, Government Laws, statutory Rules & Regulations, Work QHSE requirements.
•Carryout all inspection works after taking relevant safety permits from the client and follow company HSE policies.
•Responsible for ensuring as-built drawings are prepared by draughtsman as per the inputs given by construction engineers / supervisors.
•Preparation of Internal punch list, Conducting MCC joint walk down, to close out punch points with Client.
•Joint PSSR (Pre Start-up Safety Review) Walk downs with Client prior to Pre Commissioning activities.
•Preparation of MCC, RFC & Final documentation (Dossiers) for final submission to Client as per project requirement and getting final approval from the Client.
•A good team player with good leadership qualities, able to perform under pressure.
Duties & Responsibilities as a Supervisor:
•Shop Fabrication of Pressure & Non-Pressure Vessels (Deaerator, Instrument Air Receiver, Compressed Air Receiver, Nitrogen Receiver, Evaporators and Flare Stack etc. in workshop of Deutch Babcock)
•Fabrication & Erection of Blast Furnaces for Pig Iron project including loading hopper, conveyor and top structure arrangements.
•Fabrication & Erection of Main building structure, Compressor House Building, Granulation Shelter, Conveyor structure, Pipe Bridges and Pipe racks.
•Carried out shut down works in refinery (furnaces, heat exchangers, columns etc.) including modification works completed within schedule.
•Study of drawings and explaining the same to workforce and maintaining the work standards as per drawings.
•Review & Execute work plan as per daily, weekly & monthly schedule given by the management.
•Reporting & making progress reports along with day to day problems with management.
•Co-ordination with the other departments for improvement of progress/reach schedule as per site condition and allocation of workforce daily as per the requirement and priority of the job.
•Maintaining the Safety standards of the project and implementing the same in the job thereby improving the standards of the company’s Quality Policy.
•Receiving & stacking the material supplied by clients at the storage area and controlling & monitoring the material properly to avoid unnecessary wastage.
•Knowledge in Fabrication of Pressure & Non-Pressure Vessels & Steel structure (Studying & Monitoring of Drawings, Marking, Cutting, Rolling, Fit-up, Welding, Testing & Painting works etc.) with core basic knowledge from the footsteps.
•Mobilization of different Skilled/Semi-skilled/Unskilled workmen and leading the man power as per the job requirement and schedule.
•Arranging qualified welders as per client / job requirement.
•Quality related activities/Daily inspection activities of Pre-assembly / Assembly / Welding / Testing / Painting with BHPV, BHEL and Third Party Inspectors.
