• Engineering coordination - Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to meet project objectives from the time of contract award to handover and manage various project activities which include scope, budget, timeline, procurement and variations management. Attend progress meetings and be the primary point of contact for projects stakeholders for Engineering coordination
• Vendor Management - Interfacing with vendors for technical clarifications and resolution of queries. This includes review of vendor documents (Valves, Pumps, Marine Loading Arm, Pipeline Instruments etc.), submission to client and consultant and comment resolution for final approvals. Support the procurement process from material requisition through purchase order close-out.
• Technical support for NOCs - Support the project submittals and No Objection Certificates (NOC) process to the relevant Authorities RTA, DEWA, DUSUP etc.
• Technical evaluation and response to Third party NOC requests
• Technical evaluation for subcontracting works and coordinating with various project subcontractors for Marine, E&I, Fire Fighting, HVAC, HDD works
• Document preparation and review including PFD, P&ID’s, Piping GA Drawings, Datasheets, Project specifications, procurement specification, Material Submissions
• Assist QA/QC and Construction Team to address technical issues
• Participate in Hazard & Operability (HAZOP) study, prepare close out report
• Conduct 3D model review sessions, prepare close out report
