Handling all export shipments such as: air, sea, land & courrier shipments
.Do bookings with freight forwarders
.Follow-up with customs clearance agent on the cargo
Send all Docs. related to the shipment to the client as
.a pre-alert
. Tracking the courier shipments until the delivery
Prepare collection Docs. for the bank against payments
. for LC Shipments
Follow up with the finance dep. in order to settle
payment of freight bills
.With the carriers & prepare monthly sales reports
• I was in charge of doing bookings for shipments via airlines
• Issue AWBs (Air Way Bill) Upon shipping declaration provided from the supplier.
• Open files for every shipment on the system & update the events for every shipment regarding its booking and its pick up Until its departure.
• Issue invoices for every shipment including the air freight, handling, fuel, security & all the services provided from the Airline and also the services of custom clearance and transportation to debit the client based upon agreed rates.
• Track the shipments to make sure that the shipments delivered to the clients and then send pre-alerts to our foreign offices To inform the consignee.
• Provide our sales persons with quotations provided from airlines to negotiate with our customers.
• Do filling for All Docs related to every shipment.
* I was in charge of arranging the consolidation of HAWBs, collect their data including the pieces, weights and the commodity of the shipment then apply them through the system by opening file for every shipment
• Update the arrival & delivered shipments on the system
• Send pre-alerts for the clients to send their delegate to receive the papers to start the custom clearance for their cargos
• Debit the clients by issuing invoices for our delivery order & for any service We offer like: air freight, handling, transportation, storage or custom clearance
• Do filling for All Docs related to every shipment.
