• Greets and directs patients and visitors for the entire facility and always provide friendly and courteous services • Answer inquiries and assist patients in filling up the documents. • Ensure availability of treatment needed for the patient, file and retrieve • Make appropriate and scheduled appointments for the patients • Reaching out to patients about their appointments and doing regular follow up • Promptly resolve minor issues and inform manager or nursing supervisor of any significant patient and visitor complaints • Obtaining insurance information and verifying eligibility and benefits • Properly identifies the patient to ensure medical record numbers are not duplicated • Reviewing all the information entered in the system, verifies all information with the patients at time of registration, corrects any errors identified • Handling billing/payment records • Reviewing insurance policies and maintaining financial records • Recording and collecting patient charges • Accurately completes the registration process for any procedures/admission s outlined by the department's policy and answers questions regarding the facility and its services • Secured and verified patient's signatures on registration forms
