Head of the construction supervision team for the Works being executed by
the Civil Contractors (8-packages) for the ADB funded MPSRSP-II projects of Madhya Pradesh
Road Development Corporation. The Work consisted of eight Construction Packages for a length

totaling to 850 km of road network spread out in the state of Madhya Pradesh India. The project is
executed under the new FIDIC conditions of contract (the harmonized edition of March 2006
edition). Project Cost: Rs. 840 crore
Construction / supervision Work of Kagoma-Lusahunga Road
Upgrading Project for a length of 154km, in Tanzania Client: TANROADS, TANZANIA. The
project was executed under FIDIC conditions of contract. Project Cost: US $ 55 million
Preparation of DPR and guiding the project engineers in carrying out
surveys, investigations, preparation of design standards, preliminary/ detailed engineering design of
highways, preparation of detailed drawings and cost estimates, preparation of complete Tender
documents as per FIDIC, etc. for feasibility study and detailed project report for 2/4 laning of SH for
Kerala State Highways Project, India
The principal
accountability as the head of the Highway Projects was to implement the business development plans
of the Company for Highways and monitor the Project Construction and design development,
preparation of cost estimates, tender and bid documents, institutionalization of value engineering
principles and finalize the awarding of Contracts to technically and commercially suitable sub-
contractors / vendors for various project related activities/ works. Ensuring efficient operations and
maintenance of the assets such as the plants and equipments; monitoring the project progress and
problem solving in the areas that required attention / intervention, regulating all the construction
processes envisage for earthwork, sub-base, base course, bituminous layers & pavement quality
concrete, structures etc., assessing the progress status and advise on alternative solution to the project
operational issues in the Work Programmes and resource deployment plan, method statements, etc.
for timely completion of the Projects and scheduled handing over.

* Construction of 4 lane of marginal bund road from Khajuri to Grand Trunk Road at Delhi,
India. Client: PWD, Govt. of Delhi. Consultants: Central Road Research Institute, New
Delhi. Project cost: Rs 45 crore
* Re-construction of International Apron and taxiway Phase-I at IGI Airport, New Delhi,
India. Client: Airport Authority of India. Project cost: Rs 40 crore

(JV) Construction supervision and strengthening of the four/six lane carriageway of Katraj Ghat
Bypass of Pune-Satara Road section of NH-4, in the state of Maharashtra, India. Client: National
Highways Authority of India. construction supervision of earthwork and rock excavation,
pavement layers of sub-base, base course, DBM/BC, high performance (silica fumes) pavement
quality Concrete, 1250 m long six lane twin tube tunnel, 40m high six lane 500m long Viaduct,
two flyovers, underpasses, cross drainages and allied structures etc. and ensuring the works to be
carried out according to MORT&H specifications/manuals etc. Preparation of variation orders,
checking and issuing of Interim Payment Certificates, monitoring, recording and reporting the
physical and financial progress of works. Project Cost: Rs. 150 crore
Construction of 59.2 km
Tuni- Anakapalli section of NH-5 on BOT back to back basis. monitoring the project progress;
implementing requisite safety and security processes in the projects under development and assets
under operation with the focus on ensuring minimal incidents; for periodic monitoring progress
status and advised on alternative solution to the operational/project issues, for preparing Work
Programs and resource deployment plan, method statements, etc; for maintaining highest standards

Tanzania, Construction and Strengthening of Highway section from Mbeya to Tandooma Border by
bituminous layers (length 55 km) Tanzania. Responsibility for road construction project; led a team
of site staff for execution of various pavements layers, selection of material sources for bituminous
layers, base course, sub-base and sub-grade and earthen embankments; identification of borrow areas
and quarries; close interaction with clients and local bodies; quality assurance of Work keeping in
view contractual specifications; monitoring of company’s manpower, construction equipment and
technical control, preparing work programs for completing the works within time bound schedule,

assurance plan
* Charting out the project objectives and plans, setting performance requirements, selecting
project team and making presentations for progress reviews and holding meetings.
* Bringing about optimum utilization of resources such as labor, materials, equipment, and
ensuring their procurement at most cost-effective terms
