Calibrate the laboratory instruments / coordinate the preventive maintenance activities based on instrument calibration
Monitor the performance of laboratory equipment under my area of responsibility and update the control charts for those instruments
Update analysis work procedures / instructions based on the latest approved international methods
Coordinate and participate in product quality contamination and troubleshooting issues
Participate and issues reports for the scheduled Internal Audits
Investigate, resolve the source of non-conformance and issues corrective action reports
Responsible for investigation of customer complaints and provide technical assistant to resolve the issues
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly generated reports
Follow laboratory standards and safety procedures
Train laboratory technicians
Perform other related jobs as per the Manager directives
Reporting to the department Manager
Conduct technical client visit.
Preparation of the job based on instructions supplemented with the result of the contract review, clarification meeting and planning documents.
Conduct project safety analysis in chemical cleaning activities.
Preparation for chemical cleaning activities.
Supervise the people when mixing of chemicals to be used for the chemical cleaning activities.
Take two samples from the mixed chemicals for the client laboratory and anabeeb site laboratory.
Make experimental analysis from the sample taken using volumetric method before doing the chemical cleaning activities.
Submit the experimental analysis results to the client laboratory for verification if the analysis is the same with their results.
Treatment of the waste chemical after the chemical cleaning activities (pH should be at 7).
After treating the waste chemical, take two samples from the treated waste chemical and give one sample to the client lab.
Make experimental analysis and submit again the results to the client lab for verification if the results are the same with their results.
Dumping of the chemical should be done after the experimental analysis of the waste chemical is safe and in pH 7.
Perform pre-analysis laboratory procedures including conducting QC run to check instrument performance/accuracy
Report results accurately and timely utilizing established reporting protocols, discuss abnormal results with respective Shift Supervisor
Comply with material safety data sheets to effectively and safely handle chemicals
Follows laboratory standard safety rules and regulations
Perform other job related duties as assigned by the direct supervisor
Make daily report and submit it to the QA/QC supervisor.
