Since 2013 to present working with Maaden Corporate in Riyadh, Contract and Procurement Department, work as Contract and procurement specialist. I have been assigned to Wa’ad Al-Shamal project gaining experience in contract administration, procurement, planning, scheduling, cost control, documents control & manpower recruitment. With intensive work and involvement in reviewing technical and commercial proposals, negotiations, claim & disputes resolution & contract drafting. Location of Employment: Riyadh, Al Khobar, and Turaif in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Winnersh in UK. Leiden in Netherlands.
In light of the above, my role with Maaden’s PMT, project management team, was to cover below responsibilities:
Contracts field:
• Draft contracts and agreements, processes amendments, variations and assures internal approvals are obtained. ( projects undertaken up to present are worth roughly 1.9 billion SAR)
• Maintain an up to date knowledge of technology, industry supply chain initiatives and market trends/pricing
• Provide input into and assists with continuous improvement of processes and tools Demonstrates skills in detail orientation, service excellence, creativity and adaptability, dependability, time management, good judgment, decision making and teamwork
• Responsible for documentation of the contract.
• Provide costing and balancing of the project.
• In charge of the costing and analysis of the contract variations orders.
• Ensure that the project contract is on the line of its variation orders and contract terms.
• Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
• Analyze and review budgets and expenditures for the contracts.
• Meeting with the contractor on regular basis to review progress, discuss problems and consider necessary changes.
• Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
Procurement field:
• Insure all suppliers are included in Maaden AVL (approved vendor list).
• Interfaces with Product Line Planning Manager and Construction Manager to plan and prioritize purchasing activities.
• Reviews project planned orders, and requisitions for purchased items.
• Transmits and prioritizes approved purchase orders and supporting documents to supplier.
• Tracks order acknowledgement, prepares and communicates shortage and backlog reports, and provides visibility of potential interruptions to internal customers.
• Tracks orders and confirms system lead times, delivery dates, and costs.
• Communicate with logistic and customs team to clear all difficulty and be prepared receiving shipments.
• Reviews, updates, and maintains purchase orders by creating MSR( Material status report) and PSR (procurement status reports) until they are closed.
• Leads expediting team in resolving delivery issues.
• Identifies opportunities and implements actions to achieve efficiencies.
• Contributes to consolidation, reduction, and rationalization of the local supplier base.
worked with Madaf consulting and trading company for 10 months, worked as commercial lead for STC projects - Cells On Wheels Towers operations and maintenance project.
