FP&A FCF - Treasury Analyst (2014) and FP&A P&L Analyst (2016 - Date)

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning, developing and controlling free cash flow budget and monthly forecast process, corporative weekly reports, CFO meetings, CFO analysis requests, MWC analysis, cash conversion cycle and inventory - accounts payable and accounts receivable turnovers.
• Planning daily regarding cash management, pursuing opportunities for savings through treasury transactions, and managing and solving cash shortages.
• Acting as key point of contact between the company and banks in order to solve issues, develop and coordinate new projects, negotiate on purchasing, and approving internal transactions.
• Coordinating and consolidating P&L monthly forecast and budget. Performing variance analysis, profitability analysis, reports, scenario analysis and results presentations to MD and GMSA CFO.
• Participating in the development of strategies in General Motors’ programme to improve staff engagement - for example recognising staff performance, educating on healthy living and work/life balance, creating good working conditions.
• Participating in Lean programme focusing on process improvements, aiming to:
o Reduce operative tasks by the automatization of processes using tools such as Excel, Access, SharePoint
o Develop better relations between the company and teams
o Achieve 100% quality forecast information and increase analysis time
• Worked towards the standardisation of processes, controlled labour time and supervised goal times in order to improve quality and reduce delivery times.

Key Achievements:

• Successfully implemented new system required by GM corporation to report and analyse FCF.
• Achieved new system implementation ‘WSS’ in order to restructure and centralise treasury organisation in GMSA, and ensured process continuity.
• Created consolidation process files to analyse and interpret FCF forecast in order to reduce operational tasks and increase analysis time.
