Reporting to the HR Director, part of the HR Senior Leadership Team.
My role operates across the business to deliver HR projects, learning solutions and better practice.
I’ve delivered a number of projects so far including:
• In-depth People Productivity Review
• Healthcare Offering (Cost vs Operation) reporting
• Major Incident Investigatory Reporting
• Employee Accommodation Auditing
• Employee Transport Review
• Refreshed Employee Induction
• People Handbook
• Recruitment (Secondment)
• Guides, Templates & Process Design & Implementation
• Creation of Competency based interview assessments
Responsible for supporting the development of Sky's 30, 000 employees with a focus on Management, Graduate & Apprentice programs including the pioneering Sky Manager HD, Delivering Through Others and Graduate & Apprentice training.
This role supported the business to produce and design varied blended learning for our Online Learning Platform as well as coordinating classroom learning and delivering group sessions.
From Sky News to Finance; this role partnered with all departments, seniority levels and multiple geographical locations of our business.
I also spent time working with teams across the Sky network including Sky Italy, Sky Portugal and Sky News Arabia (Abu Dhabi)
Working as part of the leadership team, I was a local face of learning and culture to 500 employees at a large retail location.
This was a truly generalist role with a heavy Employee Relations focus however I was responsible for leading on Culture, Learning and Colleague Engagement; I designed, planned and implemented various people learning and engagement related activities.
Owning and redesigning the induction process I was able to recruit and train over 150 new colleagues. I worked with the business to reduce the initial induction and training programme to 1 day; allowing colleagues to add value to the business from Day 1.
This role enabled me to challenge/engage colleagues and managers to create an atmosphere where talent/productivity thrives.
Curriculum/Learning Design and Delivery working in partnership with ESGSA and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Government (SSS)
I was responsible for the day-day management of a project set to develop curriculum within government colleges in Saudi Arabia in its initial stage developing:
Assessments, Teacher’s Notes, Student Handbooks and Blended Learning.
Leading a team to ensure the project’s success and line manager to one Project Assistant.
• Conducting 10 face-face interviews a week including telephone interviews and shortlisting
• Headhunting using online deep search methods including UAE candidates
• Payroll transition project management
• Managed over 400 job posts
• Candidate/client management
• Progression/Rejection calls and letters
• Checking Passport documents to ensure right to work
Working within the Boots UK HR shared service centre to provide first line group L&D services to department leads and line managers in over 3, 000 stores and offices across the UK.
This role involved regular travel to stores across the country supporting them to deliver business goals. A key achievement in this role was the development of a training guide for contact centre employees to better support stores across the group. I was also involved in a LMS system transformation project.
