People Development Coordinator at British Sky Broadcasting

Responsible for supporting the development of Sky's 30, 000 employees with a focus on Management, Graduate & Apprentice programs including the pioneering Sky Manager HD, Delivering Through Others and Graduate & Apprentice training.

This role supported the business to produce and design varied blended learning for our Online Learning Platform as well as coordinating classroom learning and delivering group sessions.

This was a truly generalist role with a heavy Employee Relations focus however I was responsible for leading on Culture, Learning and Colleague Engagement; I designed, planned and implemented various people learning and engagement related activities.

Owning and redesigning the induction process I was able to recruit and train over 150 new colleagues. I worked with the business to reduce the initial induction and training programme to 1 day; allowing colleagues to add value to the business from Day 1.

This role enabled me to challenge/engage colleagues and managers to create an atmosphere where talent/productivity thrives.
