Acts as Officer-In-Charge whenever the TI Manager is unavailable
Supervises the installation of NSN Flexi Base Transceiver Station for NSN In-Building Solution.This includes the installation of the Power system (e.g. Rectifier and Batteries) and Transmission System (e.g. microwave, fiber optics, fixed network).
Performs commissioning of NSN Flexi2GBTS and WCDMA FlexiBTS by configuring the BTS/ Node B equipment according to the specifications provided in the site Datafill by the customer.
Commissions the PDH Transmission system used by the BTS. NSN uses the Flexihopper for this application whether via Fixed Network or Microwave.
Supervises the installation of the NSN Power System Rectifier (DPR-2000).
Ensures that the AC Power requirements of the site are met by checking the correctness of the power termination and back-up power is working.
Performs test calls, handover test, GPRS and/or PS data tests, and alarm testing to integratethe BTS to Du Mobile Network.
Performs Corrective and Preventive Maintenance of the BTS during the “Quality Monitoring Phase” of the site.
Ensures the site readiness for Hand-over to the customer by performing Quality checks on the installation as per NSN/Du standards.
Provided assistance to Site acquisition agents in selecting possible site location candidates based on the RNP’s nominal plan. This entailed determining all possible site candidates within the predetermined radius of the nominal coordinate from the technical side’s perspective.
