Group Chief Accountant / Financial Controller

Core Responsibilities:
As a part of the Executive Finance team, reporting to Group CFO, Redesign, Remapping and Restructuring all finance function of the Group, implementing international financial reporting standards while making sure:
Adequate internal controls, in all subsidiaries of group are in place to mitigate all operational risks.
Leading the Finance function to make sure that all subsidiaries are producing financial and management report on monthly basis.
Prepare the Group consolidated financial / Management report on monthly basis.
Introduce the SOPs and PnPs across the group to standardise the finance and operational process.
Leading team in preparing the Yearly budget of all entities in the group.
All Variances in the reporting are well explained and measure have been taken to address the main factors of the variances
Prepare Cash flow and maintain the positive Cash flow for the organisation.
Manage working capital including hotel supplies and inventories.
Compliance with the local legal requirements
KPAs are monitored and KPIs are achieved
Monitor financial risks, operational risks, business risks and control risks and take appropriate measure to mitigate these risks.
Staff Training and Development:
Train operational staff on the financial issue to increase the awareness hence the quality of the work across the board has increased
Train Senior accountant and the manager on the standard accounting practise
