• Leading enterprise wide network management & operations providing support to all global locations of JSW Group Companies.
• Handling more than 150+ locations which includes DC, DR, Plants, Depo, Yard & Offices, Analyze & Understanding the customers business complexities, challenges, strategy to drive value from the Solution provided.
• Coordinating new project planning, designing, testing and deployment & also handling platform technologies Lead on Audit services on pre and post-implementation.
• To ensure implementation of processes for all services covered in the SOW, ensure 100% SOW compliance &
timely escalation of non-compliance to Program management.
• Provide solution design expertise to ensure to understand and design apt technical solutions to customers via technical demonstrations, POCs, pilots and articulate the business benefits they offer.
• Review and approval of adequate plans for the control of planned outputs, budget spending, labor
efficiency, material efficiency, engineering effectiveness, customer service, and order entry efficiency, along with human utilization.
• Collaborate proactively with internal and external stakeholders to address complex technical
queries, pricing construct and new service requirements.
• Acting as liaison for all internal, client and third party audits with respect to network and operations. Also providing Network consultation.
• Design and implementation of network setup (MPLS, BGP and OSPF) various locations and newly acquired entities as per the customer requirements in timely manner.
• Troubleshooting day to day network issues related LAN, WAN, VPN and other firewall related issues, Wireless, Routing & Switching, AWS cloud, Azure cloud & GCP cloud. Also performing VAPT on regular basis as well as to mitigate open vulnerabilities.
• Monitoring the network across the locations & escalating the issues with ISP vendors till closure to ensure maximum uptime.
• Responsible for planning, design, implementation and support of LAN, WAN and firewalls in business-critical production environments.
• Typically interact with systems administration teams or the monitoring team.
• Trouble shoots and maintains the WAN network consisting of multiple WAN links from different service providers connecting to ISPs.
• Ensure all incidents are responded in timely manner to avoid business impact.
• Configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of routers and switches (HP, Juniper, Cisco Nexus), Firewalls devices including Sonicwall, Juniper SRX, PFSense and Palo Alto
• Ability to manage open source tools used for Network monitoring and management like LibreNMS, Cacti, Rancid, etc.
• Design, implement and manage the LAN, WAN setup for Media.net Ensure all network design documentation are updated in the systems.
• Worked on various networking assignments such as VPN management, WLC, various links & all types of network configuration and troubleshooting.
• Got exposure of high end network devices i.e. Cisco ASA, Fortigate, IOS Firewall, VPN, Routers and switches and various networking devices.
• Understanding of DNS, TLS, DHCP and other networking services.
• Managing OEMs for broadband network Transport.
• Implementing Transport Capacity Management by performing traffic shifting or load balancing
• Planned event assessment, approvals & coordination with OEM & Partners for all major/minor migration/upgradation event related to IP Transport Network.
• Quarterly Network audits & network optimization schedule in coordination with OEMs.
• Quarterly governance meeting with partner for Network operations & services provisioning.
• Extensive interaction with both internal & external customers and ability to manage multiple priorities & escalations.
• Weekly Reconciliation with Telcos to avoid discrepancy in data with both parties. MTTR meeting with Telcos to highlight the point areas for improvement for better network uptime.
• Initiating Service Improvement Plan (SIP) to minimize repeated outages & for network stability to improve Network Uptime.
• Regular customer meeting to understand requirement and review deliveries.
• For each project, progress KICK OFF Meet with internal stakeholders
• Understand customer end network setup to establish newly LAN, WAN connectivity
• Co-ordinate with engineers for equipment installation like Multiplexers, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Modems & Hubs at data centers.
• Liaising in determines, monitors, and reviews all project economics to include costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, resources, and risk
• Analyzing and recommending appropriate planning concepts and tools to be used for all facets of planning, scheduling, and tracking projects
