General Overall Strategic Responsibilities

• Setting up the operation’s goals, objectives, budgets & commercial targets in alignment with the Group’s strategic direction for the short and long term.

• Managing the human capital directly or through subordinate managers, ensuring excellence of commercial performance.

• Promote customer service excellence by running surveys & providing benchmarks.

• Set up the yearly strategic plan & budgets accordingly.

• Conduct meetings with manufacturers & business partners to negotiate the best commercial agreements.

• Develop & implement goals, objectives, policies, procedures & standards at the operational level.

• Attend top level managerial meetings to review the marketing, sales & operational performance.

• Monitor & analyze market trends & competitor activities.


Financial Responsibilities

• Develop & monitor the operation’s budget and financial.

• Analyze & improve cost effectiveness.

• Prepare, submit & justify budget updates to CEO.

• Prioritize & allocate available operational resources.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of the operation.



Marketing & Sales Responsibilities

• To get the sales to target potential companies & projects, create leads, do cold calls, get appointments, arrange visits & meetings, introduce our company, the brands of products we represent, generate enquiries, get the specifications, RFQ's & BOQ's.

• To technically check, verify, confirm & validate any / all inquiries with regards to the products, brands, standards & specifications received from the customers / clients.

• To float inquiries locally, regionally & internationally, directly with the manufacturers or with their authorized dealers / representatives / distributors / agencies for materials not in stock and materials in the inquiry but not dealt by us in a beneficial support / assist capacity on a case to case basis.

• To get them to put up with quotations, have it reviewed & evaluated on it's merit & further negotiate to get the best deal for us.

• To get the sales to put across our quotations to the customers / clients, follow them up, negotiate, finalize & close deals with LOI's & PO's and let our suppliers have the same respectively.

• To get the accounts to send across and receive performa invoices & confirm on the intended payments.

• To visit the yards / warehouses & conduct inspections to ascertain the quantities and quality of the materials being send / brought.

• To get the logistics to coordinate with the customers & clients to arrange gate passes, spaces, storage, cleaning, loading, unloading, handling & transporting to give minimized lead time deliveries.

• To inspect & confirm as to the quantities & quality of the materials received & delivered & do accordingly.

• To get and provide all technical, commercial & logistics documentation including but not limited to Test Report's, Mill Test Certificate's, Certificate Of Origin's, Bill Of Lading's, Packing List's & Commercial Invoice's.

• To get the accounts to receive & submit commercial invoices & statement of accounts and effect clearance of all pending payments ASAP.

• To prepare & submit technical, commercial, pre qualifications, material submittals & sample boards upon requests as per prescribed formats and get the government sector department, consultant, contractor & project consultant approvals for the company's brands of products.

• To get the logistics to monitor the stock availability of all materials, replenish & maintain them.

• Had complete ownership of products, managing the entire product cycle from product conceptualization, positioning, building & exploring emerging opportunities in line with global trends.

• To identify new sales avenues, make presentations on the company’s behalf & enter into an agreement with potential clients based upon high powered meetings.

• To liaise with government departments such as Kahramaa, Ashghal, QP & others as well as all the consultants & contractors to get necessary approvals for the different range of products assigned.

• Conduct feasibility & technical analysis, prepare commercial & technical offers, provide quotations as per deadlines in consultation with the manufacturers, further liasioning with clients for any clarifications effectively closing the sale.

• To create, retain & service existing client base by active interaction, lead & enquiries generation directly from the concerned government departments, consultants & contractors.

• To monitor the order execution & intervene in case of any delays, provide accurate status reports in real time to management & resolving customer issues with the optimum utilization of resources.

• To assimilate and utilize market intelligence effectively to generate revenues, report sales projections on a periodic basis & make presentations on behalf of the company at various board meetings & seminars.

• To lead & strategically coordinate the activities of the sales team, to achieve targets, provide quality service & maintain a cutting edge over competitors.

• To brief, allocate resources, assign jobs and manage a team of technicians to conduct pre delivery inspections , service, repair & maintenance of a rental fleet of 60 closed diesel 50 - 1250 kva power generators / gensets.

• To mobilize to / fro transportation loading / unloading of the gensets at the yard / project site locations.

• To coordinate with all parties concerned to obtain the necessary gate passes & permissions so needed.

• To have the project site location compacted, leveled, cleaned & prepared including putting up of safety warning signs prior to unloading of the gensets.

• To get the mobile technical team to have the gensets checked, serviced, connected, idle/load tested, have the assigned person thoroughly briefed at site & do a complete final inspection along with him before handing over all responsibility to him.

• To get the monitoring team to regularly check with the assigned persons at the various project site locations to receive the latest updated reports on the status of each of the gensets there.

• To have the monitoring team alert the mobile technical team & have them dispatched to the project site locations to investigate & resolve any / all issues ASAP to avoid any significant disruption to service.

• To have the mobile technical team provide a standby support genset should the genset in question incur complex or time consuming issues.

• To get the service team to have the gensets back at the yard cleaned, serviced, connected, idle/load tested, repaired, maintained & have them on the ready ASAP at the yard.

• To conduct routine general maintenance on all gensets at the yard / project locations through the service & mobile technical teams.

• To maintain sufficient stock of the essential spare parts, tools & consumables to facilitate quick repairing & servicing of the gensets by the service & mobile technical teams minimizing lead time on deliverables.

• To assist the sales & accounts to optimize business.

• To maintain records & document all aspects of operation in line with the directive from the management confirming to QC/QA standards / specifications, review protocol / procedure to be adhered to including safety precautions to be followed in tandem with the management.

• To generate reports for the management to review, decide, plan & implement policies accordingly.

• To service & repair the company’s brands of heavy machinery including excavators, jack hammers, forklifts, road cutters, rammers, pumps, valves, compressors, generators & welding machines among others.

• To internally transport the machines to the designated zone, investigate the complaints, inspect it, service it, systematically dismantle it, replace the necessary parts / components, reassemble it, subject it to tests to ensure compliance to required standards / specifications & internally transport the repaired / serviced machines to the designated zone for delivery.

• To be ready to be embedded in to mobile units to be dispatched to project onsite locations for service and / or repair of machines at short notice.

• To conceptualize, design, produce and test customized automated mechanical robotic machinery solutions for large, medium and small scale manufacturing industries
