About the Program: Business Insights program is introduced @ EITC where few high performers are selected to be trained on Various Business Processes at Eaton’s Manufacturing Sites. Objective is to pay attention to own industry & Build expertise in various functional disciplines in order to understand how departments work and then relate to work. Participants need to share the learnings across the teams on the Technical floor, so that all projects being done for Eaton are benefitted. Qlikview CoE is responsible to deliver high performance & Optimized Qlikview Dashboards which Business Users can use for Effective Decision Making in their Day to Day Operations & help their business increase the revenue and save the operational costs.
Currently this team is supporting Industrial Business (Vehicle / Hydraulics / Aerospace) of Eaton for 8 Big Dashboards and 20+ small dashboards. Two months back this team started expanding services to corporate group in Project Management Areas.
My role is to manage Qlikview Deliveries following Agile Methodology and talk to Business to chart out clear Business Needs / Requirements to help effective solution building.

Responsibilities included
• Assigning tasks to junior team members
• Maintenance and enhancement of the complex ETL systems \[in Unix / Oracle\] used in Principal Financial Group
• Involved in the tasks from creating the Low Level Design to the final Production Transfer
• Estimating the efforts and schedule required for the task to complete
• Solving technical problems of business partners in Business Objects and unix/sql generated reports
• Sending regular (weekly / as required) consolidated updates on various tickets assigned to each team member.
• Proactively identifying backup tasks / next priority tasks to prevent idle time for team members (in case current priority hits a roadblock because of certain requirement)
