Job Responsibilities (As Shell Site Manager)
My duties include managing, leading, controlling and training a team of marketing/Sales assistants and responsibility for a functional section of sales.
Some of work responsibilities are listed below:
• Follow, implement and enforce HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment) standards per ‘Shell Operations Manual’ and company HSSE policy.
• Daily banking/reconciliation and reporting of money, card transactions, vouchers, e-pay, newspapers, magazines, lottery, car wash, vacuum, and other associated store sales and services.
• Wet stock and dry stock order making and adhering to stock plans and maintaining agreed inventory control, labelling and expiry targets.
• Ensuring, best shop merchandising, stock rotation; ‘First In First Out’ (FIFO), shelves replenishing, and front facing according to the planograms.
• Ensuring shop complies and achieving 100% SCRA (Shop Core Range Audit).
• Ensuring, 100% results for Cluster Manager, Territory Manager, District Manager, MMP (Mystery Motorist Programme), and other forecourt audits.
• Ensuring all shifts are covered by trained and competent members and staff is fully trained to provide ‘The Best’ customer service and to deal with emergency incidents/ procedures.
• Monitor and sign off refusal log, site dairy, incident/accident book, first aid box and ensure staff is fully aware and trained for age related sales.
• Ensure ‘Fizzback’, daily sales, and shift targets are displayed on site, and staff is regularly briefed on the performance.
• Ensure own availability for emergency call out.
• Conduct performance management/disciplinary meetings with staff as and when required.
