Financial Planning & Budgeting
• Formulation of the corporate strategy and finalization of annual targets for the year.
• Releasing and coordinating financial planning process including finalization of country-store- department wise financial budget and 5 year business plans.
• Finalization of country-store-department wise buying budget for the year including reforecast.
• Monitor income and expenses versus budget, track the variances, recommend corrective actions and follow-up on remedial actions to ensure the adherence to the budget and to support the effective monitoring of performance within the budget for:
• Retail productivity
• Gross Margin and Net Margin for the Concept
• Stocks and Sales
• Preparation of month wise yearly cash flow requirement / importation plan for the year.
• Feasibility study of new projects with main focus on financial viability of new projects.
Monthly Financial Reporting & MIS
• Ensure timely financial reporting like country- store- department wise P/L accounts for all countries at LFL and NON LFL segments.
• Generation and analysis of country-store-department wise sales MIS report and comparing the same with budget, analysis of trends and variances and taking corrective actions.
• Inventory management including monthly ageing analysis of country-store-department wise inventory.
Supply Chain & Logistics
• Managing daily country-department wise OTB position.
• Seasonal buying planning at supplier/group /sub group level at entry and exit price point.
• Release of centralized pricing.
• Management of shipping plans, delivery schedules, optimization of inventory movements across various stores in all countries.
Accounting & Vendor Management
• Formulation and implementation of various accounting policies & procedures, development and maintenance of systems for generating correct accounting information, review of existing internal control systems and related improvements.
Monthly Financial Reporting & MIS
• Monthly financial reporting to management including release of detailed financial statements indicating MOM performance and various KPIs like ARPU.
• Comparison of month on month and YTD actual financial data with budgets and explain variance thereof.
• Release of various MIS & business analysis on subscriber data, activations, churn, installation cost, field repairs & relocations, sales and distribution cost, content cost and consumption.
• Monthly and YTD circle wise / region wise analysis of sales, expenditure and consumption of various saleable and installation materials, refurbishment and repair cost, service cost, installation cost, relocation cost including profitability at each activity level vis-à-vis the no of activations, FRs and relocations & comparison of the same with the budgeted cost and analysis of variance.
Accounts and Audit
• Formulation and implementation of various policies & procedures, development of various MIS reports and monitoring core accounting in area of sales, purchases, inventory, consumption, fixed assets, content cost, installation cost, field repair and relocation cost etc.
• Preparation of Trial Balance including finalization of accounts as per Indian Accounting Standards including consolidation and coordinating with statutory and internal auditors.
• Analysis of content cost including package wise margins.
• Receivables and Payables Management.
• Compliance with different statutory requirements pertaining to Income Tax Act, Sales Tax Act, Service Tax Act, State VAT laws and other applicable laws to the company.
Inventory & Consumption
• Inventory management including physical verification of stock, variance analysis & its adjustment and revaluation of stock.
• Quantitative and value analysis of cost of goods sold vis-à-vis sales and consumption of various installation materials vis-à-vis total activations, FRs, Relocations.
• Successful implementation of various policies & procedures, development of various MIS reports including budgeting, monitoring core accounting, SAP and other system related enhancements as directed by Head Office in area of sales, purchases, inventory, consumption, payables and receivables.
• Preparation of Regional Trial Balance including finalization of accounts and Profitability of Retail Outlets.
• Checking all the commercial aspects like land papers, DMNOC, CCOE, RSL and other licenses etc. required for opening new dealer model retail outlet and release of first product-in.
• Analysis of retail outlet monthly and quarterly sales & expenditure and its comparison with the budgeted figures along with variance analysis.
• Prepared daily, weekly and monthly cash forecast together with arrangement of funds from corporate office and to report its related mobilization to the corporate office.
• Monitoring and co-ordination with dealers regarding day to day product release in order to avoid dry out situation and stock reconciliation along with fuel gain & loss analysis.
• Payables management.
• Compliance with various applicable laws to the company.
Achievements:
• Successfully participated in opening of 280 nos dealer model retail outlets.
• Introduced web indenting system for the dealer model retail outlets.
• Leading a team of 15 professionals and responsible for systems review of each functional domain, development and implementation of work system, accounting and financial activities, financial planning and its implementation, budgeting, MIS and costing, taxation, finalisation of financial statements, audit and procurement planning for group.

• Introduced the system of budgeting which helps in the decision making for top management.
• Handled statutory and internal audit, Tax audit, management audit and due diligence assignments in various organizations.
