# Technology Planning Duties:
• Evaluating, designing and instructing to implement the new proposed products by commercial team.
• Evaluating the concepts of new Core Network and VAS products; designing a technical solution and writing the proper RFPs/RFQs to be submitted in bids.
• Evaluating the responses of bidders and scoring the bids on technology used basis and recommending the best solutions to be adopted by technology and procurement teams.
• Analyzing, planning, developing, and re-designing the CS Core Network structure based on technology development and strategic roadmaps to improve network performance and avoid function duplication.
• Planning the annual CAPEX budget of Core network department as a member of CS Core Planning team in Telco Planning department to calculate the needed annual budget in advance for expected/unexpected network expansions and developments.
• Conduct Post-Launch technical assessment and test of newly implemented products and services.
• Writing technical change requests of Core Network updates to be shared with all related teams then to be sent to Operation team for implementation.
• Managing the network topology of the Core Network elements and developing plans to add new elements to the network.
• Evaluating and technically supporting new Roaming Solutions and projects.
• Numbering plan, short code, and premium services management.
• Designing and managing site layouts.
• Implementing expansion and migration planning of CS Core elements.
• Supporting PS Core Planning team and working in parallel to cover tasks related to PCRF.
• Monitoring and analysis of statistics of routing traffic, subscriber traffic, CPU load, SIGTRAN/SS7, HLR capacity, PCRF link load and capacity, MSS/MGW capacity.
• Monitoring third parties trunk utilization and connectivity.
• Tracking the software scalability in the vendor end and suggest software upgrade of CS Core elements and following up the related projects.

# Project Management Duties:
• Planning for new projects from operator side.
• Evaluating and approving PIPs (Project Implementation Plan) and RM (Responsibility Matrix) shared by vendors for new projects.
• Holding kick-off meetings with all related projects stakeholders, vendors and third party staff and initiating the projects.
• Following up projects implementation process and holding periodic meetings with all stakeholders and proceed to solve troubles and difficulties during the projects lifecycle.
• Cooperate with vendors project management representatives and exchange the reports and information related.
• Gathering projects related reports from all stakeholders and evaluate the project implementation during the projects lifecycle.
• Reporting on projects status and work flow to the management.
• Coordinating with projects stakeholders to conduct UAT tests and sign-off sheets.
• Closing the projects and preparing brief project report on the project implementation and the problems and solving methods.

# Duties with Commercial team:
• Evaluating and recommending developments on existing products based on the network load, utilization and subscribers’ usage in addition to market needs.
• Working in parallel with commercial PD team to analyze the proposed products’ annual and 3 years business Plan roadmaps and recommend the best solutions.
• Evaluating the impact of the commercial team’s ad-hoc promotions on the network and calculating the required costs to accommodate the promotions when required.
• Being involved in the technology part of business case studies by calculating the cost of proposed products and services.
• Delivering technology presentations on the network infrastructure for commercial team upon request.
•More than two years working in Huawei switches, hardware installing and software configuration.
•Working two years and four months with Huawei telecom SS7 equipment (SG7000), hardware installing, and commissioning and software configuration.
•Doing all Asia Cell telecommunication STPs in whole of Iraq, started as a site engineer then supervisor engineer then team leader for STP staff in ZT-3 Telecommunication.
•Good experience in SS7 and STP functions.
•Working for Six months with Huawei C&C08 Switches, hardware installing and software configuration.
