Senior Specialist - Contracts
• Report to the Director of Contracts and Procurement and deal with contract management enabling cost effective provision of goods and services to the organization.
• Manage all activities related to contracting including mapping of requirements, finalizing scope of supply/work, tendering, bid evaluation and recommendation for award of contracts.
• Serve as a member of the technical analysis committee enabling selection of best cost-effective bidders for award of contracts.
• Monitor all ongoing contracts and ensure on time satisfactory execution meeting all contractual terms and obligations.
• Provide consultancy services to various user departments on contract related issues.
• Assist the Director in development, implementation and enforcement of policies and procedures for efficient departmental operations.
• Participate in periodic performance evaluation of the department, identification of variances and implementation of improvement plans.
• Liaise and coordinate with stakeholders including user departments, vendors, contractors and service providers ensuring resolution of issues and achievement of objectives.

• Negotiated and reestablished the suspended account of MDA with Saudi Airlines.
• Registered MDA employees with the General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI).
• Communicated with insurance companies and obtained medical insurance for MDA employees.

• Monitored and ensured on time, accurate preparation of monthly payroll of employees covering salaries, allowances and bonuses as per approved policies and procedures.

• Ensured calculation of salaries and benefits for each employee as per approved categories, grades and scales and prepared payment orders for release of salaries.
