IFRS requirements. The role included assessing and reconciling all
available sources of fixed asset data (FAR, eAM, GIS) and creating data
collection and verification approach and plan, supervising above
ground assets, performing physical verification and tagging at
equipment level (as per the ARM), assessing the technical asset listing
that reconcile with the physical installed assets, CWIP (Capital Working in
Progress) cleansing process review and reconcile withproject data and
quality assurance of activities and deliverables.
•Ensure timely closure and reporting of the monthly management accounts.
•Lead and mentor the finance team, manage and appraise a robust and driven finance team to support the operation.
•Confirm the compliance with all statutory and tax reporting requirements for the assigned legal entity including acting as focal point for annual audits, tax returns and other legal filings.
•Prepare and analyze all financial planning (forecast and budget) in line with corporate schedules, and as per ad hoc requests of business unit lead and VP Finance.
•Act as business partner to general manager and operational managers to develop tactical business plan and maximize growth opportunities.
•Support the commercial aspects of the business for deal reviews when required, analysis of risk versus reward in commercial value terms, as well as budgeted costs pricing and margins.

Update the budget model as requested by the respective operating units to account for significant changes in the business environment.
Formulate the budgets relating to capital purchases, monitoring and reporting of budgets to corporate and local management. Further, liaising with operations managers to understand drivers of variances and agree monthly reforecasts.
FP&A
Act as liaison between operating groups and the Financial Planning and Analysis department to receive timely budget and forecast submissions.
