Duties/ Achievements
- Responsible for monitoring the contractors of the project on solid waste collection, transportation & city cleaning (lot 1 &
2) and controlling them through a team of public health inspectors (who gather evidence by utilizing photos, inspection
reports, etc.) in abiding with the conditions of the service agreement and imposing penalties in case of breaches.
- Responsible for checking the performance and quality level of the services provided by the contractors and preparing
evaluation reports for the development and improvement of the services on solid waste collection, transportation and
city cleaning.
- Responsible for preparing baseline studies and cost analysis studies for solid waste collection, transportation and city
cleaning.
- Managed contracts on solid waste collection, transportation and city cleaning from all angles viz. Administrative,
financial, technical, on field, etc.
- Provided directions to contractors to develop a Service Implementation Plan (weekly and monthly reports) to organize
and develop the daily required services.
- Responsible for conducting regular environmental awareness training to contractor staff on environmental issues related
to SWM operations as well as other environmental and sustainability issues.
- Responsible for improving the tasks carried out by the contractors of the privatization project and suggested ways and
means to upgrade the solid Waste Management systems in Abu Dhabi city.
- Initiated planning and execution activities of Phase 2 (Treatment and Disposal of Municipal Solid Waste) and Phase 3
(Treatment and Disposal of Hazardous Wastes) of the ADM’s SWM Project which involved the construction of
solidification plants, compost plants, landfills and incinerators.

conditions issued to all industries within the jurisdiction of Abu Dhabi Municipality.
Additionally, held charge of EPS's Quality Officer and was responsible for the quality
management issues of EPS’s environmental laboratory and ambient air quality
monitoring (AAQM) network of existing six automated remote AAQM stations & one
mobile station (FT-IR Open-Path Analyzer) that are ISO 17025 certified and hold UKAS
accreditation.

reports are produced accordingly.

- Responsible for carrying out environmental inspections and monitoring of multi-media pollution in industries, oil
companies, oil field service companies, healthcare facilities, solid waste handling, treatment & disposal facilities, etc. in
the state of Karnataka in accordance with Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act 1974, Air (Prevention and
Control of Pollution) Act 1981, Environment Protection Act 1986, Hazardous Waste Management Rules 1991.
- Responsible for checking environmental inspection reports and monitoring reports produced by the subordinate staff

plant of capacity to treat 9000 Cu m/day of effluents to river discharge standards as
well as air pollution monitoring.
Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for the production of 0.5 tons/day sodium meta-bisulfite, 1.0 Tons/day of
sodium sulfite and 0.25 tons/day potassium meta-bisulfite.
- Successfully completed QP Bul Hanine Phase 1 B Projects comprising of 5 WHJs and a manifold platform and NFA
WHP3 projects as well as other infrastructure projects in Halul island without any environment violations, issues or
concerns.
