Education

Master's degree, Building Services Engineering
  • at Loughborough University
  • December 2007

2006-2007 M.Sc. Building Services Engineering Loughborough University, Leicestershire, UK Module Studied: Building Services Design, Thermal Comfort and Indoor air quality, Heat transfer and Fluid flow, Building thermal plants and systems, Building thermal loads and systems, Building Energy Management Systems, Low energy Building Design and Analysis, Sustainability and the Built environment, Lighting and Power, Building Thermal Modeling and Simulation, Lighting and Power Systems. Design Projects: My design projects involved site visibility study, architecture design of an Olympic standard swimming pool in Mandela's park Leicester. Through regular meetings, analytical ability, initiatives, team worked spirit, planning, time management and ability to used Auto CAD software, the task was accomplished. And then in the second part of the project detailed Building Services Design was studied as to choose an efficient HVAC system for the building, and also studied building thermal performance; Sensitivity and part load analysis Research Project: Concern about global warming has resulted in a resurgence of interest in naturally ventilated commercial building. The project study was to model and compare various natural ventilation strategies together with fan assisted ventilation, using simulation with software IES to analyze day and night time cooling with single-sided and cross-flow ventilation in an office building having central atrium. An optimal solution showed to be cross-flow natural ventilation to cool offices.
