All duties and responsibilities of a Civil Infrastructure Engineer.

(i) Job Responsibilities
• Inspection of Civil Site Activities including Construction, execution & implementation according
to project standards & specifications.
• Reviewing method statements, shop drawings, work Inspection and material Inspection
requests and releasing in Aconex system.
• Issuing Site Observations or Non-Conformance Report to the Contractor for violations on Site
& Islands.
• Supervision of Site Construction Activities like Concrete pouring, Formwork and Gradation
Test.
• Monitoring Asphalt Laying (BBC & BWC) on Site as per standards and maintaining Quality of
Work.
• Ensuring Implementation of the Approved inspection Test Plan (ITP) according to Client’s
Requirements.
• Checking the Compaction for Field density as per Sand Cone Test or Nuclear Machine Test.
• Inspection of Wadi works, slope protection and Ditches including Excavation, compaction,
Steel Reinforcement, concrete pouring and stone pitching (RIP RAP).
• Coordinating with Supervision department and conducting site Inspections as per Inspection
Test plan (ITP) and raising NCR & Site Instructions (SI) for Civil & Structural Activities.

Job responsibilities:
• Supervision of Civil Site Activities including Construction, execution & implementation
according to project standards & specifications.
• Implementation of QA/QC Activities including those of Sub-Contractors works in accordance
with approved ITP/PQP, method statements and Contract documents & initiate timely Action
on NCR.
• Monitoring Laboratory inspections including Slump Test, Compressive Strength Test, material
density and Sieve Analysis & resolving technical issues related to Quality & safety of the
project.
• Monitoring Asphalt Laying (BBC & BWC) on Site as per standards and maintaining Quality of
Work.
• Co-ordinating and attending weekly meetings with the Client and Consultants and resolving
their concerns related to the quality and progress of the project.
• Ensuring Implementation of the Approved inspection Test Plan (ITP) according to Client’s
Requirements.

Executes the Specific inspections on materials, equipment and Construction activities on
site.
 Checks the Formwork and Preparation of Foundations and Concrete Pouring on Site.
 Coordinating with the Laboratory Team to ensure that the Site Activities are being carried
out as per the Project Standards & preparation of Request for Inspection (RFI).
 Conduct Field Density Test with either Sand-Cone or Nuclear Method.
 Ensuring Implementation of the Approved inspection Test Plan according to Client’s
Requirements.
 Co-ordinating and attending weekly meetings with the Client and Consultants and resolving
their concerns related to the quality and progress of the project.
 Ensuring proper safety and good housekeeping throughout the project completion.
 Assists the Project Manager, Contracts Specialist, and Site Managers to resolve change
orders and critical path issues with the sub-contractors.
