Main responsibilities:
- Lead, manage and develop the provision of all outpatient based services;
- Manage the operational delivery of outpatients’ services against the hospitals key performance indicators, ensuring the efficient running of the department;
- Develop strategies and policies for service improvement and business growth;
- Proactively work to market the hospitals outpatient services,
- Promote and maintain a close working relationship with external organizations to ensure standardization and sharing of best practice for services within Outpatient Services;
- Ensure that Consultation, treatment, assessment or diagnosis are delivered in way that is supported by research;
- Deliver a patient friendly and efficient service and where appropriate create a network of partnership practices;
- Promote health and wellbeing;
- Develop own knowledge and skills and contribute to the development of others;
- Promote best practice in health & safety and security;
- Ensure all audits/reviews of the department and its performance are undertaken and implement action plans in response to findings, to name but a few.

Main responsibilities:
- Monitoring and evaluating staff’s performance
- Scheduling staff to meet operational requirements
- Coordinating with Insurance and IT departments to ensure a smooth moving to electronic medical records system (EMR)
- Coordinating with the insurance department to ensure prompt response on medical approvals
- Providing patients with educational and medical awareness tools / kits
- Communicating with patients on their inquiries and handling their complaints professionally
- Ensuring the implementation of high caliber standards and achieving patients’ satisfaction
- Representing the Medical Records department in the yearly inspection of HAAD (Health Authority - Abu Dhabi) and the quarterly auditing procedures undergone by the insurance companies;
Acting as:
- Head of reception: Contributing in / supervising the whole process of the patients’ scheduling, medical billing and overseeing patients’ registration
- Sales and Marketing Consultant: Scheduling sales & marketing strategies under the supervision of the General Manager; including e marketing (online deals with promotional websites) and SMS advertising campaigns.
