 Daily PL Reporting -
o Daily PL reporting for all desks such as FX, Credit, Equity, Rates & Sales desk trading. Substantiating the PL movements and providing explanations/ commentaries for major movements and differences from Trader’s estimated PLs
o Reconciliation of all reported PLs to GL and identification and rectification of system issues and if any incorrect entries. Ensuring controls and measures that avoid errors and incorrect PL reporting
o Identifying duplicate and irrelevant processes and eliminates them and always finding ways to improve process and efficiency

 Reporting to the Group -
o Independently handling the regulatory and financial reporting pack (fortnightly, monthly & quarterly) for Treasury business and ensuring accurate and timely submission under strict deadlines. Ensuring compliance to IFRS
o Resolving queries on the pack submitted from all internal stakeholders as well as external auditors
 Projects undertaken -
o Supported on key IT integration projects such as version upgrades of Treasury system (Calypso) through UAT testing and verification of PL reports generated
o Reviewing and analyzing of accounting entries generated through the system and its compliance with IFRS

 Preparing disclosures pertaining to investments, loans and receivables, income statement schedules and other balance sheet items for quarterly and yearly financial statements of NBD, EBI & consolidated parent entity Emirates NBD. The schedules are prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Also ensuring that output is produced accurately and within the tight deadlines.
 Analyzing the daily/ weekly/ monthly movements in the BS & PL items and arriving at the underlying the business reasons. Have identified and encountered various system related and other errors in the report while in the process and have developed the ability to determine the right adjustments to be made.
 Analyzing the accounting plans for various new business products, identifying the correct accounting process and entries. Also identifying the required accounts to be opened for the same (according elements in the COA) and updating of the same in Oracle GL. Also ensuring the backup documents are in place.
 Participated and supported in the new GL and core banking systems implementation during integration process of the merged entity, in terms of checking the existing GL to the new GL mappings, verifying mock reports, and validating daily transactions and daily GLIFs. I was also involved in various UAT sessions that helped identify key issues and a played a important role of a link between the systems project and BAU functions. A key player in the migration of systems of ENBD London & ENBD Singapore.
 Done regulatory reporting to Central Bank, which included various weekly, monthly and quarterly reports such as banking returns 1, 2, 3, 4, Cash reserve ratio and Capital Adequacy returns.
 Achieved an overall performance grading of ‘4A - Exceeds Expectation’ in the all performance appraisals Also awarded for outstanding performance in 2009.
