Being the member of the Regional Management team, the role is responsible to deliver an effective, efficient and customer focused recruitment service to Country Offices, Programme Managers and Partner Organisations in the Region.
This role is responsible for the delivery and input to the continuous improvement of the Rio Tinto integrated graduate strategy for Asia & Middle East Region (mainly India, Singapore, China & Mongolia).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Review & optimise current graduate recruitment processes to accommodate increased focus on diversity and volume from AME region.
b) Develop graduate recruitment plans specific to AME region and deliver graduate resourcing to detailed intake targets including managing the execution of specific recruitment campaigns and sourcing strategies
c) Ensure effective resourcing of recruitment & talent to deliver graduate resourcing requirements of the region
d) Manage graduate recruitment & talent team for AME region & provide support to Business Unit Graduate Coordinators as required
e) Manage the regional graduate recruitment campaigns including staffing the recruitment team, coordinating university careers fairs, assessment centres & interviews, allocation/deployment to site
f) Manage e-recruitment system (Taleo) for AME region in relation to graduates/interns and provide input to continuous improvement work
g) Conduct reporting and analysis for AME region on graduate talent management metrics both quantitative and qualitative and identify opportunities for improvement
This role’s main focus has been in the areas of Recruitment & Talent, Employee Engagement & HR Operations supporting India offices/ projects. As part of the India HR team, I have contributed in delivering HR support services which transcend from delivering day to day services to facilitating and supporting from an HR perspective, the business development in India. In the area of Recruitment & Talent I have been responsible for providing end to end recruitment support to the region.
