Ensure the safety of self, the team and the public in the area of responsibility
Body substance isolation upon assessment of patient
Assess level of consciousness of patient upon emergency call
Assess circulation status, presence of pulse or severity of bleeding
Assess airway status of patients with possible airway obstruction
Assess breathing status of patients with difficulty of breathing
Assessment of vital signs, reassessment if needed
Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation of cardiac arrest patient
Use of Automated External Defibrillator(AED) for shock able cardiac dysrhythmias
Management of bleeding
Stabilization of fractures, sprains, and other musculo-skeletal impairments
Stabilization of impaled objects in the body
Trained in giving aid to gunshot victim
Trained in giving aid to tension pneumothorax patient
Assist patients in administering prescribed medication by the physician
Triage in multiple casualty incident(MCI)
Care in transit en route to nearest hospital
Transport to nearest hospital particularly at St. Luke’s Medical Center all patient with emergency condition
Continuous monitoring of safety in area of responsibility, report all unsafe conditions, coordinate with safety engineers.
Coordination to all security personnel to keep the area of responsibility secured
