Operation engineer for 01 exploration wells offshore
Deep Drilling Group for the drilling programmer, drilling operations activities, final well report,
casing design, invoice check, long lead items, FAT 3000 HP rig, 17 plus 10 new rigs contract,
Raudatain and Sabryiah fields north Kuwait field.
Engineer in charge of the planning and daily drilling operations KDC 47 for KOC in Kuwait with
23 drilling rigs operating in North Kuwait field. Drilling through losses zone and high pressure
Gotnia (20ppg ) and hard & abrasive Najmah/Marrat formation (utilizing motor, RSS and PDC
bit).
In charge of drilling 17000+ feet HPHT well horizontal, with temperature of 400F with oil based
mud of 20 ppg. The operations utilized bi-centre bit, RWD, undereamer, tieback casing and PDC
bit with turbine & motor. Obtained Bit record in North Kuwait for 16’’ section longest single run
footage that drill complete Zubair Fm and driller into Ratawi Shale wells SA-390.
Participating in the evaluation and preparation of drilling input for the P&A 14 well at Dana &
D30, Danau, D41… for the SK305 development oilfield in Malaysia.
Conducting / preparing Invitation To Bid (ITB) documents, technical & commercial evaluation,
contract negotiation for all drilling tenders for P & A.
Prepared the technical input format data for ITB ROV, rig position services for monitoring the
suspend well in SK305 offshore field exploration phase.
Investigate and identify potential root cause of gas bubbles, kick gas from C6 1X well suspended.
Identify and plan for relief well resources to P & A C6 1X well (including but not limited to
people, equipment, budget, marine spread, ROV, diver etc).
Conducted the market survey for all the drilling services inside Malaysia for ADP gas.
Working on the preliminary well design for early development gas wells in SK305 offshore field in
order to prepare for tendering campaign.
Conducted offset drilled wells in Malaysia SK 305 block review.
Supervising for the wells intervention on Dana and D30 (Dana D1, D2; D30 D1, D4, D8, D3
Authored preliminary well design for well cost exploration and development budgets drilling
campaign to attending the Bidding Ceremony for Iraq’s Second Licensing Round at the Ministry of
Oil Complex in Baghdad West Qurna phase II.
Conducted Drilling Procedures & Drilling KPI for PVEP Head Quarter.
Led the evaluation & negotiation to purchase Schlumberger Osprey Risks Software.
Assist for technical details for well cost estimates and drilling development budgets for Iran’s
Phase II of MDP Darquain oil field (Ilam and Sarvak), onshore Iran.
Led PVEP’s drilling database system build-up.
Managed and monitored all well program, drilling operation activities, budget & work program,
TCM & OCM Meeting… of PVEP’s drilling operations projects concurrently i.e. Cuba Project,
Venezuela Project, Tunisian Project, Algeria Project, SK305 Project (Overseas) and all project

Participated detailed well design, AFE and drilling program for 6 vertical exploration and appraisal
wells.
Conducted detail well design for 2 deviated wells BRS-9 & BRS-10.
Acted as Night Drilling Supervisor at rig site for the 9 wells BRS-7, BRS-7bis, BRS-8, HBHJ-1,
MOM-3, MOM-4 & HBRO-1 vertical exploration/appraisal and 2 deviated wells BRS-9 & BRS-
10, Blocks 433a&416b, Sahara desert, onshore Algeria using three land rig (Enafor #39, ENTP
#202, PVD #11). Obtained Bit record in Algeria for 2 deviated wells BRS-9 & 10. All these wells
are approx. 4000 meters with numerous drilling problems such as severe mud losses, tight holes,
pipe stuck, flowing shale, abrasive hard formation of Ordovician, Cambrian, high pressure over
thick salt layers …
Specially I directly worked & finalized the well engineering & program of two highly deviated
wells (BRS-9 & BRS-10). Participated to run operation of these two wells as a Night Drilling
Supervisor & achieved the successful results with two records (the highest ROP & longest distance
in Hamra formation - reservoir formation in Algeria).
Conducted the Final Drilling Reports for above-mentioned 4 wells.
Conducted all related drilling services invoices verifying and processing.
Participated annual drilling budget preparation which submitted to Management Committee for
approval.
Worked on Drilling Operation Manual (DOM).
Prepared drilling data input for Master Development Plan for Bir Seba oil field, Sahara desert,
onshore Algeria. This oil field will be brought on stream in 2012.
