• Planning of supply and demand long range sales forecasts on a weekly basis to ensure
recommended order quantities are based on reasonably accurate sales forecasts.
• Analyse and review orders to ensure that they are within DCS guidelines.
• Capturing of freight products to end-user and in-store outlets. \[From long haul: Manufactory to
end-user; as well as from Short haul: Warehouse to outlets
Providing students with academic support.
Developing appropriate lessons as well as plans relevant information to be discussed.
Group and one-on-one consultations with students.
Academic admin- marking tutorial assignments and recording marks.
Advance skills and knowledge in all aspects and issues of logistics in a sustainable supply chain. These include purchasing and procurement of materials, inventory flow and control, storage and material handling in warehousing, economics of mode of transport, and distribution and shipment.
