• Reporting directly to the Head of Recruitment
• Reporting to Project Directors, Section Directors and Project Managers for all aspects of recruitment for the 3 northern sections of the EKFB HS2 Project
• Responsible for all recruitment activities on the UK’s largest infrastructure project
• Manage all recruitment activities including budgets and processes with Senior Stakeholders, SMT (Senior Management Team) and SLT (Senior Leadership Team) to manage the recruitment projects and resourcing objectives.
• Leading a small team to ensure recruitment processes and positions are filled within allocated timeframes and budgets
• Ensuring all vacancies and recruitment activities are managed proactively, following the correct procedures.
• Implementing and managing recruitment from conception to onboarding ensuring a great candidate experience from start to joining through the probation period.
• Ensuring all SLA’s and monthly KPI are achieved and reported through consistent use of recruitment system.
• Proactively driving and influencing strategic relationships and leadership recruitment in the project
• Recruiting for all sectors including Delivery, Engineering, Civils, Commercial, Supply Chain, Administration, Planning, Design, Environmental, Health and Safety, Engagement, Project Management and Temporary Works,
• Leading and attending weekly meetings with Senior Leadership Team
• Working with stakeholders to map a future recruitment plan and using various recruitment strategies to effectively fill new vacancies
• Providing expert recruitment advice to stakeholders
• Collaborating with the wider project and HR team to review internal talent and be aligned on candidate management, ensuring transparency and sharing of talent across the business and any parent company transfers, early learning and apprenticeships.
• Liaising and working closely with the all parent company HR representatives during recruitment process
• Implementation of a new recruitment applicant tracking system called Eploy
• Working closely with communications team to update and create Social Media campaigns and Job Boards.
• Ensuring diversity and inclusion and non-biased recruitment is built into the resourcing strategy and recruitment plan.
• Member of the Mental Health, EDI and Women in Construction teams to create and embrace initiatives in the workplace.
• Successfully placed over 450 people on to the project within 3 years
• Rolled out many Mental Health and EDI initiatives over a 2 year period.
