Job Responsibilities:
• Posting of sales and purchase account entries in Tally.
• Administration of Account Receivables and Account Payables.
• Following up with clients for account receivables on payment due dates.
• Entry of receipts as and when receivables collected from the clients.
• Arranging for cheque collection from clients and depositing the same in the concerned banks.
• Reconciliation of bank statements in accordance with the bank balances in the accounting software system.
• Posting of vendor payment entries and other payments on due dates.
• Preparing Cheques for payment to vendors and for withdrawals from the bank.
• Keeping track of Postdated Cheques.
• Entries relating day to day business transactions ( Daily cash transactions)
• Maintaining Cash book and Cheque books.
• Maintaining and safe keeping of cash-in-hand and disbursement of cash as and when required for the use of the concerned parties.
• Filing of vouchers and maintaining files for audit purpose.
• Preparing invoices at the end of every month.
• Preparing financial reports (MIS) of cash and bank transactions for reporting to Managing Director, General Manager and Finance Manager.

I have done an internship with Hygienic Research Institute Pvt Ltd., in Mumbai in the accounts department. This internship helped me in getting introduced to the corporate world, and gave me valuable experience in real life working conditions. I developed interpersonal and communication skills under the guidance of professionals who are well experienced in the finance industry.

Program details :
• Introduction to the company’s history and development.
• Introduction to the company’s organization structure and visit to various departments, including Marketing, Logistics, HR, and Account & Finance.
• Introduction to daily operations of Accounts and Finance Department including overview of documentation, use of ERP system (SAP), Standard Operating Procedures etc.
• Assist the invoicing team in preparation and filing of documents, and in data entry.
• Review and verification of transaction statements, invoices etc; preparation of cover letters, credit & debit notes, and error reporting.
