Job Responsibilities:
• Posting of sales and purchase account entries in Tally.
• Administration of Account Receivables and Account Payables.
• Following up with clients for account receivables on payment due dates.
• Entry of receipts as and when receivables collected from the clients.
• Arranging for cheque collection from clients and depositing the same in the concerned banks.
• Reconciliation of bank statements in accordance with the bank balances in the accounting software system.
• Posting of vendor payment entries and other payments on due dates.
• Preparing Cheques for payment to vendors and for withdrawals from the bank.
• Keeping track of Postdated Cheques.
• Entries relating day to day business transactions ( Daily cash transactions)
• Maintaining Cash book and Cheque books.
• Maintaining and safe keeping of cash-in-hand and disbursement of cash as and when required for the use of the concerned parties.
• Filing of vouchers and maintaining files for audit purpose.
• Preparing invoices at the end of every month.
• Preparing financial reports (MIS) of cash and bank transactions for reporting to Managing Director, General Manager and Finance Manager.
