• Driving entire production and quality control operations with final accountability to achieve defined quality, production and productivity targets.
• Drawing production plan, estimating material needs and arranging inputs in coordination with purchase section to support planned production levels.
• Monitoring production process and identifying / eliminating bottlenecks to ensure deliveries as per customers’ supply schedules. Introducing process improvements to control process wastages and improve overall efficiency. Coordinating with design & Tool room department for prototype model development.
• Designing and enforcing quality systems and procedures to minimize rejections and incidences of reworking. Implementing ISO 9001, TS systems, procedures and documentation. Implementing 7QC tools to ensure total quality assurance by managing inspection of incoming, in-process & final products.
• Co ordination with Machining & casting supplier regarding quality issues & system implementation.
• Member of cost saving & rejection control & kaizen team. Preparing and submitting QC and production related MIS reports.
• Handling Skype meeting with Customers.
• Effectively implementing modern quality and productivity enhancing techniques like Pokayoke, Kaizen, FEMA, KANBAN, JIT, 5S, 6 sigma and ISO systems and procedures.
• Providing leadership to production and QC personnel and keeping them fully charged up with constant motivational and monitoring inputs.
