Responsibilities as INVAS Engineer (Oct 2020- Till Date)
● First Point of Contact for all network incidents related to INVAS.
● Continues Monitoring of IN, VAS, DEG, and MCN nodes and Interacting with Management and
Back Office Team to provide timely resolution, SLA Monitoring, and Management with third-party Vendors.
● Act as a center focal point for the Domain during incidents, and coordinate between them to get fast results.
● Ensure timely communication/information flow towards internal & external partners.
● Daily and Weekly Health checks and their analysis as part of Preventive Maintenance for all IN and VAS nodes.
● Handling Network Trouble tickets and network issues.
● Handling VAS Service Desk Ticket and providing resolution for customer complaints related to SMS services which include Roaming and Local SMS services.
● Handling CS Core Service Desk Tickets and providing resolution for customer complaints related to CALLS (Local and International) and Roaming Registrations issues.
● Maintaining Restoration SLA for VAS and CS Core Service Desk Tickets.
● Preparing KPI IN servers CPU, Memory, FATAL error, and Traffic process utilization reports on a daily basis sent to customer and management.
● Manually EPAY179 Client restarts while CPU UTILIZATION reached above 90%.
● Monitoring incidents during the change management activity over the network and communicating with the implementer regarding the impact on the network.
● Ensure all ongoing activities are published in the Hand Over tool or any other dedicated tools that have this functionality.
● Interface with Customers on various levels regarding the organization monitoring activities and performance.
Able to do IBS surveys, designing, and planning without the aid of planning tools.
● Conduct Technical survey on-site with other subcontractors.
● Supervise IBS and Small Cell implementation Technicians
● Monitor the progress of the Site On Air Reports and the Site Acceptance
● Prepares a weekly update for the Teams Accomplishments and Site On Air Reports Status.
● Prepare site permits for Site survey and mobilization
● ATP 11A and ATP 11B and HOTO Acceptance for Small Cell.
● Continues Monitoring and Troubleshooting of Samsung and Airspan Small Cell Devices (Indoor and
Outdoor).
● Maintenance and Troubleshooting for Cisco and Airspan Wifi Devices.
● Performance and KPI of Indoor and Outdoor Small Cells.
● End to End responsible Operation and Maintenance for EnodeB, small cell Wi-Fi and maintaining quality
and coverage.
● Maintenance and Troubleshooting for UBR devices IB440, IB460
Being attentive to bridge the gap and taking quick actions on Enterprise customer requirements and
providing solutions.
● Interaction with customers and clarification of Technical Issues.
● Alarm troubleshooting and Fault management of EnodeB, Small cell, and Wi-Fi.
● Alarm troubleshooting and fault management using LSMR, Netspan, Mojo, Putty, and Aircap.
Perform site surveys and prepare technical site survey reports (TSSRs).
● Hands-on extensive experience in commissioning and integration and supervising TI teams for cutover,
swap, expansion, and site on-air activities related to Huawei: BTS 3900/3900A/DBS3900 (GSM
900/DCS 1800/UMTS 2100/eNodeB) and Huawei Optix RTN 900 (905/950/950A/980) microwave
equipment for customer operator Vodafone.
● Supervise Installation and hand on commissioning, integration, and troubleshooting of Huawei
Microwave Radio System Short Haul and Long Haul for SDH and PDH Links.
● Site Engineer, Supervision and lead a team of technicians for Vodafone LTE Expansion and Upgrade of
wireless sites to LTE.
● Supervise Installation of Cable trays and IBS equipment(DAS Antennas, Splitters, Feeder cable, Connectors,
etc) in Qatar Rail Project
● Implementation of Huawei GSM, UMTS and LTE on Vodafone sites (2G, 3G, and LTE 4G)with RRU 900, RRU
800, RRU 1800, RRU 2100 and RRU 2600, DBS 3900.
● Configuration/SW Commissioning, Integration, troubleshooting, Alarm monitoring, and status check using
LMT software.
● Swapping single port antennas to multi-port antennas, feeder cable installation, and connector termination.
● Supervision of activities of the site including receiving materials, checking the quality of materials and quality of
work, Supervising safety, and ensuring they are followed on site.
● Ensure Site completion and report the work progress to Project Controller and Manager
● Operation and maintenance of Huawei BTS (Huawei 3900, 3900A and 3900 E)
● Planning & implementation of both SDH and PDH Microwave links according to the bandwidth
requirement
● Operation and maintenance of NEC transmission equipment (Passolink, passolink NEO)
● Operation and maintenance of Alcatel Multiplexer (1642 EM, 1642 EMC, 1662SMC, 1660SM)
● Frequent maintenance of the faulty equipment to overcome the present downtime
● Maintaining BSS Cell and Transmission Network availability 100%

● Trouble Shooting of BTS equipment at the site in coordination with the NOC team
● Planning and coordinating projects for massive rollouts from site survey to installation and
commissioning of cell sites
● Planning and Rerouting of traffic on an emergency basis during an outage
● Implementing Microwave reengineering works (PDH -SDH conversion, SDH ring protection, additional
E1 provisioning for PDH protection etc.)
● Conducting Preventive Maintenance at Cell Sites for Predictive analysis
● Manage Team members for the successful implementation of the FTTx project which covers ISP &
Migration activities
● Hand-on experience in FTTx Installation, Migration, and troubleshooting the problem
● Create solutions for the GPON network based on UG, OH, and B2H connections
● Configuration of Local Area Network parameters (Access point, Router, and Client bridge
● Migration of copper service to Fibre and Activation of new service requests using OOREDOO VPN
and COMPTEL PORTAL
● To lead the teams to achieve the set-out target with proper monitoring of the Quality of work is
carried out on site
