I have started my career at National Institute of Technology - Calicut since July 2012 as System Administrator. I was part of a team handling System administration (Servers, Desktop/windows Linux) duties of the Institute’s dept. offices, Central Computer Centre & Labs.
Primary work responsibilities:
• Managing various applications including, Windows/Linux Server Environment of 10+ Servers located across multiple locations in the Institute
• Managing Active directory(Linux/Windows)/ DHCP/ DNS/ Group Policies/ NTFS/FORTINET firewall, VPN connectivity/ SAN storage
• Monitor the server windows and antivirus update
• Securing and configuring Web servers and Databases
