A result of an internal promotion, as the Group Human Resources reported to the CEO, with direct line responsibility for 5, collectively responsible for the HR function for the Group. The Group has 320 staff over 6 sites. As the Head of HR, accountable for recruitment, employee relations, HR administration, Learning and Development, PRO activities, front of house and employee accommodation in a very multi-cultural environment. Reviewed and responsible for HR Budgets - Learning and Development, manpower, PRO related activities and recruitment.
Key achievements:
· Grew the HR Department in line with Organisational growth from a family business of 15 staff to a Corporate of 320 staff.
· Developed and implemented all HR policies for the Group, including Recruitment, termination, resignations, employee onboarding and all other operational HR processes.
· Led the implementation of Oracle HR system across the Company, resulting in efficiency in HR procedures.
· Prepared and monitored the effective management of the HR budget.
· Developed and implemented the Organisational HR strategy.
· Restructured and grew the HR department in line with Organisational growth, and provided job descriptions.
· Improved internal Organisational and employee communications through interdepartmental procedures.
· The custodian of the appraisal system developed new appraisal guidelines across the organisations.
Reported to the Manager, leading the customer services team, as the first point of contact responsible for ensuring the team provide exceptional customer service in line with Company policies. Accountable for training the team on Company customer service procedures, to ensure excellence. Developed and implemented customer service policy across the Organisation.
Reported to the Manager, responsible for conducting educational activities for school children, and providing an exceptional customer service for all clients, including tour points of interest to group members
