Reporting to CEO in related to QHSE management of the company.
As appropriate designate QHSE Roles and accountabilities to other specific positions
To enforce compliance with all Local Legislation and Regulations under the above-mentioned Act, Codes and Company QHSE Management System requirements.
Ensure that all necessary resources (financial, personnel, equipment, etc.) are made available for ensuring compliance with the QHSE Management system and associated HSE requirements.
Actively participate in and promote the companies Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Policy and the associated QHSE Management System.
Actively participate in and promote the Company’s QHSE Management System and set a personal example in helping to develop a positive QHSE Culture.
Ensure that all personnel employed into supervisory and above positions are competent (by virtue of their training, knowledge and experience) to carry out their respective tasks.
Give support and encourage management and supervision to enable them to fulfil their QHSE duties and responsibilities imposed on them by the Company, Client and Federal authorities.
Ensure QHSE Management system requirements are established, implemented and maintained in accordance with OHSAS 18001:2007, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 Specifications.
To support the QHSE Engineers & Officers oversee the Projects implementation, management and monitoring of the Company’s QHSE Management System.
To support the Project Managers & Directors in their implementation of the QHSE Management System and in addressing QHSE issues on site that require off site input and directions in addition to that provided by Project QHSE Engineers & Officers.
Provide support and guidance to supervisory and management staff in the necessary QHSE requirements, documentation and checks as per the QHSE Management system.
Bring to the attention of the Project QHSE Engineers and Officers and Project Director any concerns you have regarding the health and safety of the working environment.
Stop the works where the working environment constitutes a danger to any person or the environment.
Conduct the role in such a manner as to ensure, as far as reasonably practicable, that persons other than those in the Company’s employment who may be directly affected by the Company’s activities are not thereby exposed to hazards.

To support and promote/champion all QHSE policies and procedures implemented by the company
Advise Site Staff on:
Preventing injury to personnel, damage to plant and equipment, and fires.
Ways to improve existing work methods. Contractual requirements affecting safety, health and welfare.
Potential hazards on new contract before work starts and on the safety organization and fire precautions required.
Changes in the safety requirements
Carry out site surveys to see that only safe work methods are in operation, that health and safety requirements are being observed, and that welfare and first aid facilities are adequate and properly maintained
Determine the cause of any accident of dangerous occurrence and recommend means of preventing recurrence
Assist with training employees at all levels
Take part in discussion on injury, damage and loss control
Understand the requirements of company’s loss prevention policy
Inspect the work site daily and report and correct unsafe acts and conditions.
Keep a permanent record of all injuries and damage at site.
Keep a record of weekly safety meetings on site with subject and attendance.
Conduct periodical inspection of vehicles, equipments, tools and fire fighting facilities etc; and monitor the action points at work site and render necessary guidance to Engineers/ Supervisors/ Workers during the site inspection
Maintain and update all H.S.E related documents.
Issue Safety Highlights and Flashes and prepare HSE statistics.
Display the relevant cautionary instructions, signs and symbols in the prominent places.
Committed to DSI HSE requirements and all applicable legislations and contractual requirements affecting the HSE activities at project site and administrative offices.

Line Of Work :

Infrastructure, MEP -Sewerage, Storm Water, Chilled Water Piping, Firefighting, Irrigation system, PVC, HDPE, GRP, GI Piping, LV, HV Cable Laying, Chiller, Generator, BMS, Horizontal underground excavation.

To support and promote H&S and CEM Plan as per Company IMS and Project requirement.
Reviewing on regular intervals & ensuring that the approved Plan is implemented on site.
Prepare site Objectives& Target approved by the PRM and ensure all targets are achieved.
Awareness and understanding of all safety rules and regulations in the Company
Follow departmental procedures and system
Ensure that subcontractor operate in a safe manner & comply with the project safety plan
Liaise with departments and clients in controlling the permit to work/dig systems
Carry out regular and random inspections on the site and record the results
Compile and record safety statistics.
Maintain the necessary safety related records.
Implement safe system of works for the project in conjunction with the Safety Manager.
Ensure risk assessment have been carried out before commencement of work activities.
Check the use and wearing of PPE and safety equipment provided
Check the use and correct tools and equipment for the job
Report to the project manager any unsafe conditions or defects in plant or equipment
Report any injuries resulting from work activities
Investigation in site accidents and analysis of the causes & associated preventative actions
Check the maintenance of a high standard of housekeeping at all times
Safety officer and all sites senior staff will conduct toolbox talks on a regular basis, record will be maintained.
Advise the HSE Manager in planning and organizing measures necessary for effective control of accidents and establishing safe work environment.
Carryout hazard identification risk assessment of all activities along with the site and project engineers and recommend required control measures.
Investigation of accidents, dangerous occurrence, near misses and occupational disease and advising remedial measures to prevent recurrence.
Ensuring that all persons working at our sites receive induction training
Making site specific emergency planning and assisting the site management to handle all site level emergencies
Maintaining Occupation Health and Safety records.
Promote and organize other activities for developing and maintaining the interest of employees in safety.
