• Reporting to Project Manager & QA/QC Manager & provide daily update of Project material inspection.
• Role of working in PMT as Project-QA to resolve quality related issue received from Vendor, Design Consultant, TPI/CA & Client.
• Review & Approval of IRT, ITP, QAP, MPS & other quality documents received from vendor & submitted to Client TPI/CA for approval.
• Provide Quality related comments on Material Requisition (MR)/Purchase Specification (PS) made at early stage of Procurement of item.
• Provide Quality documents for approval of Purchase Specification (PS) for all Subsea items after approval from ONGC CA & TPI.
• Provide Quality inputs to Project dept. & Procurement dept. during issuance of Purchase Order. Also monitoring Top side QA/QC activity for procurement items.
• Submitted Weekly Progress Report (WPR) to Client for QA/QC Dept. related activity.
• Raised RFI (Request for Inspection) to ONGC CA & TPI to comply ITP stages.
• Arrange inspection visit for Contractor TPI as per requirement of Approved ITP.
• Coordination in QA/QC dept. to submit Project related documents i.e. QAP/ITP as per DCI, WPS/PQR, Welding & Coating Procedures for Pipeline & Riser Tie-in.
• Prepared Coating Matrix in line with Client Spec. for each items used in Project & get approval from Design Consultant & Client.
• Maintain QA/QC related document status which is to be submitted to Client for approval. Also raised Technical Query & Clarification Request to client.
• Co-ordinate with Welding Engineer & Provide input to Project Dept. for required no. of Pipes, Welders, Procedures to qualify Pipeline WPS/PQR as per DNV-OS-F 101
• Provide quantity of Pipes to qualify PQT of 3LPP & CWC on Line pipes to be done at Coating yard (M/s Jindal, India). Also consider pipes for PQT of Field Joint coating i.e. for Heat Shrink Sleeve material.
• Arrange inspection & quality documents for Subsea Package items i.e. for Sour & Non Sour Line Pipes (V&M, Germany), LSAW Sour Line Pipes (Welspun, India), SSIV & Hydraulically Actuated Ball valves (Perar, Italy & ATC, Netherland), Umbilical Cable (JDR, UK), Hinged Closure & Pig Indicator (Pipeline Engineering, UK), Subsea Flow Tee (GAM Raccordi, Italy), Piggable WYE (MEGA SpA, Italy), Subsea Flanges (Melasi, Italy)
• Conduct PQRs in presence of Client CA on Regina-250 Barge at yard as per Client Spec & pWPS.

Inspection of Equipment & Components for Oil & Gas Projects.
* Inspection for Offshore structure, Piping system, Pipe coating for subsea pipeline.
* Finish product inspection (Pipe, Flanges, Fittings, Valves, On Off Valve, Control valve)

Reporting to Project Manager & DGM (QA/QC) for Projects related status.
• Issue of Inspection Notifications and Co-ordination of inspection activities with Third Party Inspection agencies and Client / PMC (Cairn / EIL) as per ITP.
• Review of documents as per VDR & Timely approval of Procedure and ITP as per Project specification from TPI & Client for Packages & Bulk Material.
• Insured satisfactory end result by controlling stage wise activities.
• Verify Inspection Report & Inspection Release Note, MTC, IBR FORM-IIIC, Back up Documents, Painting/Coating Report endorse by TPI for final clearance of material.
• Provide dispatch clearance for final accepted material by TPI.
• Updating all final documents in Drive for record & provide detail to site to clear MRIR (Material Receiving Inspection Report)
• Raised Comment Resolution Sheet (CRS) to client to resolve comments mentioned in ITP/Procedure
• Discussed with client for any Technical Query & resolve it.
• Project specific quality procedures to be established & implemented at construction site for various operations & testing.
• Maintain PO status for Bulk material & expedite with Client (Cairn Rep).
• Maintain Documents Status for control of vendor documents for vendor packages.
• Weekly Inspection Status Report send to Client.

• Inspection of Process (Static Equipment) & Rotating Equipment for ONGC, IOCL, IPCL, Reliance, Essar.
• Inspection of new construction of Offshore Platform Structure & Piping.
• Witness offshore pipe laying operation, installation and hook up Piping system of the
Wellhead Platform at offshore site.
• Finish product inspection (Pipe Flanges & Fittings, Valves, On Off Valve, Control valve)
• Witness of WPS/PQR & Welder Qualification Test & their approval.
• Witness Initial & Annual approval of Electrode Brands (Welding Consumable).
• Vendor assessment for IOCL Refinery with Chief Maintenance Manager.
• Inspection at various Pipe Mill for Line Pipe manufacturing & Plate Mill as per project.
• Approved Inspector for ONGC, Reliance Jamnagar Refinery, Essar Vadinar Refinery, Reliance Power Plant Projects.

RESPONSIBILITY:-
* Preparing Project Quality Assurance Plan to submit along with Quotation & Approval from Client / TPIA.
* Preparing WPS/PQR as per Project requirement & approval from Client / TPIA.
* Conduct Welder Qualification Test under witness of Third party inspector.
* Selection of welding consumables suitable for project material.
* Arrangement of Stages & Final Inspection including Painting of equipment as per QAP and Standards.
* Raw material inspection / Test as per specification & preparing Material Heat Chart.
* Interpretation of weld by LPT, RT & offer Radiography Chart to TPI.
* Inspection of Tubes & Tube sheet as per TEMA & conduct Tube to Tube sheet Mock-up Test.
* Making of RFI’s (Request for inspection) for Client’s witness inspection points.
* Preparing inspection document as per QAP for equipment’s review by Third party inspector.
* Provide Expediting details of major equipment of projects to Client rep.
* Visited at Project Management Consultant office for Project / Design related discussion, any technical
query & as built drawing approval.
* Prepare ISO Surveillance Audit conducted By Bureau Veritas for QMS.

RESPONSIBILITY:-
* Inspection of equipment as per QAP and code requirement. (ASME sec II, V, VIII, IX)
* Conduct welder test as per approved WPS/PQR in presence of TPI.
* Inspection of Shell, Dish end, Nozzle Pipes, Flanges as per code approved drawings.
* Fit up inspection of Shell to Shell, Shell to Dish end, Nozzle pipes to Shell, Flange to Nozzle.
* Weld visual inspection during welding & after welding.
* Preparation of PWHT cycle as per design requirement & carried out on weld joint. Offer SR chart for
TPI review.
* After welding carried out various NDT methods i.e. UT, MPT, DPT & RT as per approved procedure &
preparing report for TPI review. .
* Preparation of Hydro test & Pneumatic test.
* Conduct Painting/coating inspection before final dispatch.
* Bought out inspection at shop as per drawing or specification.
* Preparation of inspection documents stage wise & final which submitted for TPI/Client review..

* Selection of welding consumable, welding process as per design requirement.
* Machine loading & Scheduling as per priority.(M/C shop & Welding shop)
* Coordinate with engineering dept. for Bill of Material preparation at beginning stage & arranged the
fabrication accordingly.
* Prepare process flow, work instruction for each items & continuously update

* Development of Fabrication procedure & welding Product.
* Resolve any variation in Drawing, Purchase order & Specification.
* Shop floor component inspection & record it’s performance.
* Vendor Development, ratings & ensuring quality improvement as per requirement.
* Evaluation of monthly non-conformance reports & preparing the reports for managements review
meeting & taking corrective action.
* Contribution for implementation of ISO system & attend Quality audit.
