I currently work at ADNOC Distribution Sharjah Terminal which is the distribution point of Fuel (ULG 95/98 and Diseal) to the 140 FUel Stations in the Northern Emirates ( Sharjah, Ajman, UAQ, RAK and Fuj).
My job profile involves work in the Control Room along with the Logistic Team in coordinating transport vehicles and monitor fleet movement . Unauthorized stopped and violations are monitored to avoid any fuel pilferage.
Configure Vehicle Trading Device and Integrate to VTS software.
Troubleshoot and fix VTS issues .
Customization of VTS Parameters to meet end user requirements.
End User Support.
Troubleshoot Network Issues, Installation of Software and Hardware.
Connect, configure and maintain CCTV.
Access Control connection and data download for Report.
Operating System Installation.
Provide Technical Assistance to Members of the Staff.
Manual backup of data at regular intervals.
Configure and set regular automatic backup of data.
Create and Configure Email Ids on Computer and Mobile devices.
Event/Exhibition Organization and Co-ordination
My Task at the Company includes:
1) Provide Technical Support
2) Maintain Servers
3) Installation of Network devices and Nodes.
4) Provide IT related assistance to the members of the staff.
5) Configure email address on computer and Mobile Devices.
6) Install and maintain CCTV and remote access.
7) Support Members of staff regarding Customized softwares,
8) Bridge between software developers and the end users for various customized software.
9) Updating system software when required.
10) Analyzing computer hardware/peripheral devices problems, rectifying them, replacing parts when necessary.
11) Keeping Track of software renewal and Hardware service requirements and procedure.
12) Backup (automatic and manual) of Emails and Servers as per a standard procedure.
13) Re- / Installation of Operating systems and configure it to initial settings.
14) Antivirus Installation/Updation and mitoring through Central Management Console
15) Setting up the requirements for Meetings/Confereces like Laptops, Projectors, etc
