Supporting the Project Manager for all HES matters, including the participation to the IIF Program;
• Establishing a strategy for the implementation of the various elements of the HES Plan and ensuring that it is communicated to the workforce;
• Liaising with COMPANY HES Representative to ensure the fulfilment of the contractual requirements;
• Supporting the Discipline Supervisors in the preparation of the JSAs and in their effective communication to the interested team;

Focal HSE point for Consortium in terms of HSE coordination (since August 2018) within SD2 Project yard fabrication and offshore transportation activities. Management of consortium steering committee issues, resources allocation for subsea scopes' safe completion, and achievement of HSE target within established time frames.

Promote awareness and improvement in implementing HSE standards.
Coordinate with all locations to ensure accident, environmental incidents and near misses are reported, investigated and effective action taken.
Prepare all of relevant documentation associated with audits and inspections.
Provides support in the development of safety meeting presentations and assists in conducting mandated safety training as per the HSE training matrix as needed and assist in reviewing employee training profiles for accuracy.

Duties and Responsibilities: Directs the resources and activities of the Division to support the HSE programs by providing
advice and guidance to the Company Senior Management
Continually maintain an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge and preparedness across the
Division to create a culture that prioritizes effective HSE and balances overall associated costs
Review internal HSE policies and practices to ensure they are current and appropriate; conduct
hazard and risk assessments and change existing, or develop new recommendations from these
assessments
Serve as the Division expert within the field of HSE when called upon to address regulatory
agency compliance issues, third party safety & liability consultants and subcontractor
representatives
Responsible for the staffing and directing the Divisions HSE Department, including the management of all Field Safety Supervisors and staff
Responsible for the development of an annual budget recommendations and implementation.
Provide regular written reports, as well as other production-related results and updates to the
Senior Management Team
Assist project team in investigation of all project incidents (GL/WC/Recordable Incidents, Near
Miss and First Aid) and ensure proper records are completed and submitted. Assist in implementation of corrective actions as it relates to the incident and ensure "lessons learned" are
communicated throughout the Company and are incorporated into the program, if necessary
Devise, supervise, and coordinate training programs or media which will increase proficiency in safe practices and promote HSE consciousness

Provides Health, Safety and Environmental expertise and advice for all project works at shore base and other operational sites, as required.
Becomes knowledgeable in shore base operations at quayside (working in pipe yard, loading & discharge of cargo), E&P waste management, HSE procedures for other activities where HSE awareness is necessary.
