Responsibilities: -
•Preparation, submission and Approval of Project Quality Assurance Plan, Quality Audit Plan, ITP's, Quality deliverables plan, Manpower mobilization and demobilization plan, Welding and NDT Procedures, QC Procedures related to piping, steel structure, PWHT, Insulation, Equipment Installation works.
•Developing and implementation of Quality awareness and training program for all disciplines to enhance their competence.
•Continuous monitoring of Quality Targets and issuance of appropriate recommendations for improvement.
•Managing the Quality Control of welding activities including the Qualification of WPS's, Welder's performance, control of welding consumables, records of weld repairs and implementation of tracer weld requirement, control of rejection rate.
•Managing the internal Quality Audits and submission of audit reports. Follow up for corrective actions in order to close the audits.
•Managing the Approval of QA/QC Staff from client.
•Managing the effective Quality control Supervision at site.
•Monitor the Implementation of Nonconformity Control Procedure, Document control Procedure, Control of Inspection records.
•Review of method statements for all special processes.
•Preparation, updating and submission of QC Organization Chart to client on monthly basis.
•Communication with client PMT and PID on all Quality issues (Client LBE's and NCR).
•Providing the solution of Quality related problems on day-to-day basis.
•Follow up with other construction disciplines to expedite the corrective actions and close out internal NCR's.
Carrying out stage wise inspections as per ITP, Quality control procedures, Method Statements and Site instructions and preparing the RFI's (Request for inspection) and following the QMS.
•Internal, External Inspection for Shell, Bottom, Roof Plate & Foundation
•Internal and External of Shell, Bottom, Top Angle & Roof Plate inspection for corrosion and deformation.
•Internal and External Shell plate, Roof Plates welding joints inspection for corrosion and cracking.
•Internal Thickness measurement and remaining life calculation on bottom plates and annular plates.
•Internal Sump inspection
•Internal & External coating inspection
•External Nozzles, man ways, flange welding joints inspection for corrosion and cracking.
•Gasket seating surface inspection of nozzles and man ways flange joints
•Concrete foundation inspection for corrosion and cracking
•Asphalt inspection (around shell)
•Develop and implement the company QA and QC strategies for the execution of construction scope of work.
