Responsible for all financial & fiscal management aspects of the company operations and provide leadership in the administrative, operational, and business planning efforts of the company, also responsible for ensuring good funding for company operations, manage & review day to day all GL operations records before submit to the system, all arrears reports and default management actions are documented and distributed in timely manner, manage monthly, quarterly & annually different financial reports/statements/exposure for management, banks, budgeting, tax, zakat, internal controls ..etc requirments.
Summery of Duties:
-Determining financial objectives. Designing & implementing systems, policies & procedures to facilitate internal financial control.
-Comply with all reporting, accounting and audit requirements.
-Responsible for cash management and strategic planning for all operating areas of the company including zakat structuring and compliance.
-Preparing Annual Budget and forecasting trends.
-Developing reports for top management summarizing the business financial position in areas of income, expenses, capital usage and cash flows, and coordinate the preparation of strategic plans, budgets and financial forecast.
-Developing and updating accounting, finance and management policies and procedures.
-Manage the company liquidity & Cash Flow requirements.
-Monitoring budgets and comparing them with actual cost and revenues .
-Coordinating the preparation, maintenance and filing of projected P&L Account, and Balance Sheet as required by bank authorities and other financial institutions.
-Coordinate the preparation of Financial Statements, Financial Reports for internal & external usage.
-Negotiating with the banks to ensure suit funding required .
-Implementing training courses for new recruits & monitoring account performance.
-Managing and driving the account team in order to achieve and exceed targets.
-Working closely with account managers to strengthen key areas and target financials.
-Gathering and presenting key data to senior managers and suggesting necessary reactions.
- Managing, directing and regulating the accounting departments.
- Issuing the accounting policies and applying the documental courses in the company
and its branches in a way that is going with the financial objectives & high
administration policies.
- Participating with the administration and administrative departments through
proposals and solutions that serve the decisions of the supreme administration, sales
and customer service administration as well as developing the existing efficiencies.
- Establishing new accounting, financial & administrative systems for the company
and its internal & external branches.
- Adjustment & arranging the funding and daily banking accounts.
- Managing & securing the banking facilities such as loans, L/C & L/G needed for
covering the operating, funding and investment activities for the company and its
branches.
- Securing the insurance cover needed for the company and its branches.
- Making various financial reports that serve the administration for applying its
purposes & objectives.
- Preparing the yearly approximate budget.
- Issuing the monthly financial statements ( financial position, income statement…etc)
for management purposes .
- Preparing the quarterly financial reports for the administration council.
- Preparing the requirements of the annual closing and the necessary allocations and
provisions.
- Reviewing the financial statements with the internal auditor and external auditor
before the final closing.
- Preparing the final financial statements for the company and its branches.
- Preparing the final combined & consolidated financial statements .
- Supervising and following-up the requirements of issuing the Zakat certificate.
During this period, the position varied from accountant, senior accountant, cost accountant to chief of accounting, & the duties was:
- Supervising the accounting department and distributing the work among
the accountants.
- Daily accounting reviewing.
- Following up the accounting policies raised from the financial
administration.
- Following up the monthly closings (costs, banking settlements,
depreciations, provisions, pre-paid expenses….etc).
- Reviewing the total trial balance and comparing it with the sub trial
balances.
- Preparing various financial reports for the finance manager as required.
- Preparing the monthly financial positions and income statement for the
finance manager .
- Participating in preparing the annual budget.
- Participating in preparing the yearly general balance sheets and income
statements.
- Preparing the requirements of the internal and external auditor.
- Preparing and following the requirements of the company policy for the
insurance purposes.
