• Preparation development and implementation of project HSE Management System (HSEMS), HSE Policy and specific HSE Procedures for Projects to ensure compliance with clients, local and international standards.
• Initiates risk assessment workshops for various project activities
• Ensure that all project HSE objectives are met; workings within an established project scope of Work, Standards, Codes of Practice, to ensure targets are achieved, and clients’ requirements are fulfilled and complied with all legislations or regulations.
• Delivered safety Induction training, Tool Box Talk, Fire fighting training to the new workers and when need arises.
• Monitored compliance of “Permit to Work” system at worksite & explain the importance to workers.

• Arranged for the Inspection Testing & Certification of Equipment & Tools in the workshop & display copies on each machinery.
• Made arrangement for marking of shutdown Assembly Point Area, Smoking Shelter & displaying Safety slogans, banner at the conspicuous locations.
• Organized “Safety Enhancement Scheme” for employee motivation.
• Ensured availability and maintenance of firefighting systems when needed & also trained worker for the correct use.

• Maintaining of records and updating of data base. Support applicable internal stakeholders with HSE reviews of submitted plans and proposals.
• Plan, Manage and Supervise environmental and/or safety audits.
• Report and Advise Sr. Management on HSE matters and performance.
• Report on HSE matters to external government authorities as and when required .
• Responsible for HSE Department reports and staff appraisals.
• Maintain and update emergency response plans and procedures
• Coordinate with sub-contractors, and Security Departments to ensure that the HSE systems are aligned and integrated within the broader HSE framework
• Ensure timely HSE reviews of applications using both in-house and outsourced resources
